Just Wishful Thinking and Hopefully Ya'll can hear me Nashville may be a long drive for you, but trust me, it you make the drive, it will be worth it to see Wilco play at the Mother Church -- their last show at the Ryman was unbelievable. At his solo show in Nashville back in January, Jeff promised a return to the Ryman -- I'm glad he kept his word.

If you are talking about the St Patrick's Day show, you're right. I remember going through a roadblock after that show.

Analogman
From what I hear - If Jay lets it be hot in the North Pole, then Jeff will let in snow in Southtown.

ritchie45rpm
Nashville is still a really, really long drive...Not great for me either... So as well as considering the southern towns in the US, don't forget the northern outposts of the UK when you get round to re-arranging those gigs, boys. I was planning on the drive to Newcastle last time but come to the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh - cosy gig with old church pews at the back for the elders.... You'll love it! darkstar
If you are talking about the St Patrick's Day show, you're right. I remember going through a roadblock after that show. That was a great show, be great to see them at The Ryman again. I've seen a lot of bands at a lot of venues and for my money the Ryman is pretty much the best place. Not a bad seat in the house (unless you get one of the few that are sort of behind the balcony supports) and great great acoustics.
JHamm
Asheville, NC please. I know a wee little girl who'd absolutely love to attend a Wilco concert and it would have to be in Asheville due to bed time restrictions and such.
eddiedillon839
why don't you just take a road trip to see Wilco, I did to the Charleston show a couple of years ago, and it was worth the 12 hour drive.
rockinrob
there is always florida too. It is a bit rough to go anywhere else when it takes 5 hours to get out of your own state! Unless of course if you fly, but that doesnt fit my part time job while in college budget at all.
MKHstudios
you have to hum the the theme to "Deliverance" while reading this thread

Pop Quiz Kid
Yes! Please more Georgia shows. Last year it poured on us! Although that had to be the best show I've ever seen. So Fun. There are lots of cool little towns around - Athens, Atlanta, Asheville, Birmingham.
Guest David Puddy
nevermind the south, just please play chicago at least 3 or 4 times a year.
DogsPlayingPoker
Nice to see a show at the Cain's. Too bad I'm stuck in fucking Florida. Why did I ever leave Oklahoma?

I would like to see them again where there's not such restrictive sound ordinances and curfews and the such too. However, that show rocked my face off!
