LouisvilleGreg
Chuck Klosterman did a pretty funny article once where he rated how much album's were worth based upon how much money would it take for you to never to be able to listen to that album again. For Being There it would take upwards of six figures for me.
Guest Jules
What's the difference between that and this
Smokestack Joe
thats what is so amazing about the price. you can buy the same record for much less. it is not out of print.

For Being There it would take upwards of six figures for me.I just finished reading his book "Fargo Rock City" and he has a chapter in there about this as well. Very funny. Being There would be right up there for me, and YHF and SBS as well. Being There is the first Wilco/Tweedy material I owned, so it has sentimental value as well. Analogman
I've never paid over 10 or 20 bucks for a record - and never will.
willywoody
What's the difference between that and this there are two versions of being there on vinyl, the original US release and the later import release. the import is a lot brighter in sound, the cymbals knock you off your chair. they sound as if they were distorted in the recording of the album. the original lp and cd had the top end muted comparably, probably to hide this fact. i think the import has a more live sound to it but the original release sounds more balanced high to low. at least that's my take on them. It doesn't really say.
willywoody
So, I assume this ebay listing is for an original US release? It doesn't really say. i'm not so certain. the import has no gatefold but i believe the original does. (someone correct me if i'm wrong on that as i've gotten rid of my original in favor of the import.)
stooka
However, this one has bids. Summerteeth Few years ago, I foolishly passed on a $100 copy of Summerteeth that was signed by the band. (Yes, the bandmembers at that time)

(Yes, the bandmembers at that time) I think what would have really made it worth a lot of money would be if it had been autographed by the future band members. I mean, how spooky would that have been?! You all should probably just ignore me....
anthony
I was thinking of picking up some Wilco vinyl - but I want to pay more in the 10 dollar range for used vinyl. Where is a good place to find it? Anyone have any thoughts?
kidsmoke
Well I didn't mean to really ignore me. Anthony, I've gotta tell you, unless you just stumble across a real find in some little record shop, I don't think you are likely to find any Wilco vinyl in the $10 range.
