It's clear that his marriage to Allison has put him in a happier place. And her contribution to the record is very nice. I think he took the anger thing a few albums too far. I was definitely thinking the same thing... but I Am Shelby Lynne is one of my absolute favorite albums, so... ... new one sounds great, all Dusty Springfield covers. borracho Posted January 18, 2008 Share Posted January 18, 2008 i saw Shelby Lynne at a country bar back in the late 80s/early 90s and i remember nothing much about her except i thought she was pretty and had a nice voice. i was a little surprised years later when she was up for "best new artist" at the Grammys and she'd already had many albums out by then... wasn't their dad in a murder/suicide with their mom?
