meebs
I'm driving down solo from SE Wisconsin each day and would really like to at least have someone to stand in line with! There's nothing more boring to me than standing in a concert line alone. I'll be the short blonde girl in a brown coat reading a book. Or PM and we'll figure out something ahead of time! What time are people planning on starting to stand in line? (I am not looking forward to the cold!) - Molly
Christopher
If I win the contest I'll be flying in from NYC hans solo. I suppose I'll give my extra ticket away to some lucky VC'er.
RaspberryJam
I know its a total long shot to win, but I wish they would notify today. I would have a lot of arrangements to make. flights, childcare, etc.
kmerrill80
I will be coming in solo from Miami for all 5 nights, would love to try and meet up with other fellow fans. First time to Chicago, can't wait for Friday to come.
Dr. Steve Brule
I apologize if I steer this into not Wilco related teritory... For the Sunday night off a group of us will be meeting up in the Bucktown area. Dinner somewhere affordable (perhaps Chipotle, where they play Wilco sometimes) and afterwards at this bar. They have Rock Band and/or Guitar Hero! Anyone is welcome to join! PM me if you'd like more details or to exchange contact info.
evil horn
I'm up for the late lunch on Friday. hope we get a group VCers! I'm only there for the Friday and Saturday shows... back to the grind (a shoot in florida!) and starting the countdown for the Houston show.
LouisvilleGreg
I'm 570 miles closer to Chicago than I was this morning. I'll be driving up the rest of the way on Friday morning. I'll be there for all 5 and will be alone at the Allerton Hotel on Michigan Ave. I'll see you'll in line and I'm up for whatever on Sunday. Cheers, Greg

Gewee
For those still in town. Don't miss the Green mill, right next to the Rov. For the runks in the crowd, a latenight visit to Weiner Circle is necessary for proper abuse and cheese fried. It is on Clark. And then there's Smoque, a great BBQ place that frequently sells out. It's just that good. it is on Irving...
Dr. Steve Brule
Still planning on the night out tonight, would love to see lonely out of towners and locals alike there!

Dr. Steve Brule
Alright, last post about this... Looking at 7pm at Whiskey Road. 1935 N Damen Ave. It should be an easy walk from the Damen Blue Line El stop. Of course the Damen bus will take you right there, and the Milwaukee and North Avenue buses to the 6 way intersection will get you close. They have burgers and crabcakes and I'm not sure what else. Sounds like a pretty good group is going to show up, so if you're looking for some quality bonding time with VCers old and new this should be it. I'm sure you'll recognize someone so just come and say hi! See you there!

Edie
I am too sick to go. I am resting up for the homestretch of M-W nights. I'll be goddamned to miss any. However, will see as many folks as possible in the line. I'll be the one with the scarves around my head
aricandover
I'm glad some folks came out tonight, it was a lot of fun.
foolnrain97
I'm glad some folks came out tonight, it was a lot of fun. Indeed! I think I may have figured out the mystery beer! I got back to my friend's place and cracked open a RJ King Wingwalker Lager. It's a Pilsner and has a similar taste. The difference may be because mine here is from a bottle......It's brewed in Wisconsin and everything!
bböp
I'm glad some folks came out tonight, it was a lot of fun. maybe the best discovery, aside from tasty $3 mystery brews, was that a certain vc moderator (cough...maudie...cough) is a guitar hero prodigy! LouisvilleGreg
This whole week is like the party that never ends. Last night marked the third consecutive night that I've hung out with VCers. Two nights at the Fat Cat, closing it down both nights. The second night we had some hard core singalongs going on and took over a whole wall of the bar. I think the rest of the typical patrons were both amused and frightened by us. Rob is the life of the party! Last night was filled with great conversation, new friends, sickeningly huge burgers and my first futile attempt at Guitar Hero. Thanks for the ride back downtown Leo. You'll are very, very nice people. Here's to another 15 hour day.
