Guest Alan
Yea, okay fine.....but both years I have gone (when it was Pitchfork alone) there were enough acts that were recognizable to a geezer like me. Admittedly Pitchfork is pitched at an entirely different audience than I am but when I hear others here say they are not impressed I don't feel so far out of it. Heck last year not only did I know who was playing (not all the time of course) I actually owned albums by many of them. This year, not so much. I suspect there will be others coming into play I have heard of, but so far, not so much. LouieBit's very early on yet. we'll see. well, aren't you fancy.your tone is not appreciated. MrRain422
As Pitchfork is becoming more of a brand name, I think that they will start to book more bands that they're actively pushing -- more new bands and less bands leaning on a catalogue. Just a guess though.

EL the Famous
once i got past PE doing 'it takes' in it's entirety...the rest of the list just soudned like charlie brown's teacher talking in my head. seeing PE at their peak back in '91, i'm not too sure how this'll come off for me...it's still pretty cool though. LouieB
here is last year's lineup that doesn't exactly come off as mainstream. No, but alot of these folks are people we talk about all the time. Despite all this I am in.....ordered the cheapo tix today. I figure I can always unload or give away tickets at this price. It did sell out last year so what the hell. Having not seen PE in the early 90s it could be interesting, or it could be lame...hard to tell. LouieB

LouieB Yea, aging rap acts are hard to gauge. De La Soul I though was decent last year..not mindblowing, but very solid. Now, if P4K could reuinite Pete Rock and CL Smooth to perform Mecca and The Soul Brother in its entirety, then we would be on to something.

LouieB
Yea, aging rap acts are hard to gauge. De La Soul I though was decent last year..not mindblowing, but very solid..I only caught a bit of them since I was pretty beat after staying for both headliners on Friday and Saturday. PE is one of the few rap acts that would get me to hang around..... LouieB
