nodep5
I've been making myself wilco compilation mixes as little gifts to myself lately too. Overall yours looks pretty solid except the little showing from AM and Being There and I always include Mermaid Ave stuff also. Just my opinion. I think it is wierd to have been on postcard back in the day in around 96 97 , growing up on late Tupelo early Wilco and the difference now with this message board that appears to be heavily inhabited by recent converts (. I guess records do mean different things to you based on where you are at in your life. I guess that is what Tweedy states in every interview about songwriting and it is true. Scalzunfield
As a fan since late '99, I thought my list would include most older tunes, but in the grand scheme of things my mix still seems to revolve around newer stuff: Airline To HeavenYou Are My FaceOuttasite (Outtamind)Muzzle Of BeesWar On WarJesus, etc.Impossible GermanyMondayI'm The Man Who Loves YouPot Kettle BlackI'm Always In LoveThe Thanks I GetBox Full Of LettersOne By OneHesitating BeautySide With The SeedsHummingbirdVia Chicago*Shot In The Arm*Kicking Television* * - All taken from "Kicking Television" and sorta spliced together. Griddles
I can never make such a list because it just goes on and on and on. every song I would put on the list would remind me of another that needs to go on until all the songs are there and it is of no use to any one.
