Oh, this was a Cracker Jack card from like 1999 - I didn't really think it would be worth anything, it was just kind of cool to carry around.

 

1999? You're right, not worth anything (to anyone else), but I'm all for carrying odds bit of stuff around. I have a series 1935E silver certificate and a $1 bill with seven 7's in the serial number I've been carrying around for years. Actually been through three wallet changes with those bills.....

Then that was the one. Probably 1909, that makes sense.

I'm not really a baseball card guy; all I know is that it was worth a shitton of cash and that it's the Holy Grail of baseball cards.

It would still likely be worth a good chunk of change.

The Blues Brothers is a mediocre film.

In fact, the only good thing about Otis Redding's death is that he didn't have to be in that movie.

:D

 

They should have used Otis Day & The Knights in that film.

Although there are moments of classic brilliance in it, the last time I watched caddyshack (granted, I wasn't "adjusted") the movie had some pretty dry spots.
