RaspberryJam
I went to my 20th last year. Had a great time, less fun though than my 10th. Fewer people at 20. It was fun, drank waaaayyyy to much gin the night before, went to the spa the next morning with my best friend (just what the Dr ordered!), and hung out at her pool for a few hours before the event. Nothing too fancy, thank God!. I ended up feeling pretty good about myself. I may be packing an extra 20, but at least I have all of my teeth! Not so for some! I suppose that shows how rural I really am.

jenbobblehead
I went to my 5th and that was it. I never liked any of those people then, so one visit to see them was plenty.

JUDE
I've yet to attend a reunion (5yr, 10yr) and don't forsee attending my 20th. I didn't really want to bang any of those broads in highschool and I'm sure I'd be way less inclined to now.

uncool2pillow
I teach in the same 1-high school district I graduated from. 20th reunion begins tonight. I have no interest. I have 2 close friends from HS that I keep in touch with and that's all I need.

Actually, it was more like...I got who I wanted then and it'd be too much work now to get anymore...lol
Edie
Highland Park (IL) My husband went there. fatter, balder, childrener, gayer. The "gayer" part is true -- there were several people that were not out of the closet when we graduated, mainly because there was no closet per se. Now they are gay and proud (rightly so). It's the big "a ha" moment
markosis
I caught wind of my 5-year HS reunion last year or the year before, I don't remember since I didn't go and had no desire to go. I just don't see that fun in having 50 versions of the same 30-second conversation: Me: Hey, what's going on?Person: Nothing much. Working, you know. Same old shit.Me: Yeah. Me too.Person: Yeah. I hear that. No thank you. Mine's in 2 weeks but I decided to go see the Old 97's instead. Awesome.
cryptique
Mine's in 2 weeks but I decided to go see the Old 97's instead. Now that you mention it ... I seem to recall that I skipped my 20-year reunion to see Steely Dan.
