fineartoflife
I have been long tracking an alleged December 9th show at allstate arena listed on Jambase as being with Wilco (http://www.jambase.com/shows/event.aspx?EventID=798354) and on livenation as being with a TBA special guest ... (http://www.livenation.com/event/getEvent/eventId/335648/?c=api-000005) This would be pretty awesome, but I am not sure whether or not the alleged super expensive tickets are worth it
LouieB
They will be worth it, getting them is a different matter... LouieB
bböp
Unfortunately, I don't think Wilco's playing with Neil at Allstate on Dec. 9 so I guess take that into consideration in relation to ticket prices...

fineartoflife
I've got a ticket reserved for me, so I be pumped even without Wilco playing, I am hoping for either a surprise group to come or an extra long Neil Young set.
nalafej
Neil Young just added Willie Nelson as support for the Chicago show. Take that Wilco and your non Chicago sporting ways - Neil has Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame friends.
Three dollars and 63 cents
As much complaining as I think we're going to get in this thread, that's a fantastic pairing. I adore Willie Nelson, and it's been too long since I last got to see him, about five years, I think. I'm sure he and Neil will put on an amazing show. And you never know--there could be some special guests...
DogsPlayingPoker
Okay, so Wilco is not playing the December 9 show in Chicago with Neil Young, but Willie Nelson is? I ask this because my fiance just gave me the choice of Neil in Chicago or Willie in Tulsa. Different dates obviously. Is this confirmed anywhere?
renic
i believe that willie had to cancel. so no willie no wilco
DogsPlayingPoker
Thanks. I think I'd rather see Willie at an intimate venue like the Cain's in Tulsa than seeing Neil in a large arena with a band I don't know.
fineartoflife
No Willie? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
