LouieB
If only real life were like this...... Actually at the moment this is more sad than funny....I have had two friends in the last 24 hours (both Obama supporters) say that there would currently be no contest if Hillary had won the nomination..... Beltmann
I have had two friends in the last 24 hours (both Obama supporters) say that there would currently be no contest if Hillary had won the nomination.....Perhaps, but all that means is that she was the best choice for campaigner, not necessarily the best choice for president. Well, isn't this election so important that the right choice for the democrats would be whoever could beat McCain?
Central Scrutinizer
Well, isn't this election so important that the right choice for the democrats would be whoever could beat McCain?I still believe Clinton was the best chance, period. But not enough people agreed with me. I hope enough people agree with those who support Obama.
sweetheart-mine
Well, isn't this election so important that the right choice for the democrats would be whoever could beat McCain?yes, that's how i see it, 100%. clinton might have looked pretty roughed up by now; she had a lot of baggage. there's just no way to tell. just time. and i can't wait for that time to get here. I wonder who they would have picked of Clinton won? She'd eat Palin for breakfast day 1. She'd be allowed to girl punch & throw Palin's crap back, unlike Obama & Biden who don't want to appear sexist and insensitive. I think Obama would have it in the bag if he picked Hillary, although I have more respect for Biden, it would have been a dirty good move. Clinton would have done a fine job, but try to upstage Obama over time.
