remphish1
I am thrilled beyond belief to see Echo and The Bunnymen perform at Radio City in October. They are doing Ocean Rain in its entirety with an orchestra! Should be sweet. Anyone seen them before? I only have their box set, Ocean Rain and Crocodiles (What a classic!) anyhoo just wanted to see if anyone else is a fan, has seen them live before or has other albums of theirs to recommend to me! bobfrombob
I saw them but it was such a long long time ago I wouldn't put much stock in that now. However, at the time, they were very good.
Jerrygarciaparra
Echo and the Bunnymen were my first concert in the Spring of 1986 at Theatre St Denis in Montreal. They really rocked hard too. They were a really good hard rocking band live. They closed with a cover of the Stones' "Paint It Black" I remember the bass was so loud it made my feet itch And some folks down my aisle were doing lines ... that was a big deal as I was a sheltered Vermont high school senior
yermom
I love The Killing Moon, beyond that I haven't spent much time listening to them. That Killing Moon is such a badass song though, new wave heaven.
kidsmoke
I saw them about 2 years ago, during the tour for Siberia (great little record!) and they were terrific!

Doug C
I am a fan. I only saw them once circa 1988 at the Tampa Theatre. A good show that could have been better if McCulloch hadn't been Westerberg drunk. That Ocean Rain with orchestra has to be a great show. Lucky bastid.
