Winston Legthigh
Everyone join D-Mac in welcoming the A-hole of all A-holes back to the NHL I would love to see Kronwall catch him with one of his open-ice hits. I can't believe the McCarty/Lemieux brawl game was 12 years ago already... So, Nucks fans, getting nervous? They've been in a downward spiral for a while. Sundin hasn't made an impact yet... So Long
Lemieux is classless. However, I am happy to say that I saw his first AHL game this season, against the Providence Bruins
Winston Legthigh
Dear Bettman - suspending Datsyuk and Lidstrom for not playing in the All-Star game is really dumb.
Winston Legthigh
Zetterberg signs extention with Wings: 12 years for $72 million.Very nice. Didn't break the bank. $6m/year is really good value for him.

Smokestack Joe
I think Jason Spezza (OTT) has been disappointing this year. 18g 21as, last year he had 92 points, i dont think he will match that this year. The Sens have been disappointing too so that factors in as well. i bring this up because he is doing "jack" for my fantasy team, thats all.
TCP
So I have found the way to bump the Canucks slump. Yesterday I purchased a Canucks "flying V" jersey and I refuse to stop wearing it till they win again.
Smokestack Joe
Thanks to short-handed Burrows, you can remove the Flying V. (i wouldnt though.)
TCP
I'm removing it for work this morning... but once I get home it's coming back on!What a game! Luongo seems to be getting back into form, Sundin had a 2-point night, Kesler and Burrows continue to be on fire :D :D :D However I'm fairly certain that they would still be in the slump if it wasn't for my flying V. Winston Legthigh
Great article that lambasts Sather for his mismanagement of the Rangers.
bobbob1313
So we shut out the Bruins over the weekend and then lose 6-1 last night. Yuck.
bjorn_skurj
Great article that lambasts Sather for his mismanagement of the Rangers. For the life of me, I don't know why I don't root for the Devils.
tongue-tied lightning
yeas, we needed an easy game. The Panthers are tough bunch. Hope they make the playoffs. It's a long season, slumps are bound to happen, we need to come out of this in time for the post season. Rangers are clueless. Sather is like Isah Thomas, he needs to go. Winston Legthigh
Trade Deadline in a few days! Who gets J-Bo? Do the Wild try to salvage and get something for Gaborik? The Wild won't be able to get value for Gaborik, and I think there's a belief that they still might be able to re-sign him. I'm not sure what I'd do if I were the GM. No way will he re-sign, so do you take the best offer for him, even though that offer is going to be way below his value? In fantasy hockey, I'm toying with the idea of picking him up off the waiver wire, but I'm hesitant because I have no idea if and when he'd play this year...
bobbob1313
I really hope the Panthers hang on to J-Bo, even if they can't get anything for him. This team needs to make a playoff run more than any other in the league. It would mean much more for this team to make the 2nd round of the playoffs and lose Boumeester than whatever they can get for him. I'm usually not the type of person that things you should hang on to a player who has no desire to stay (I was a fan of trading Luongo, for instance), but in this case the marginal value he provides over the next few months is way more than whatever could be returned in a trade. TCP
Also! Brodeur! Holy shit! Holy shit! That's pretty much all you can say about that. Five months off, come back, three straight wins, two shut outs, 4 wins away from Roy. Wow. Now that the Devils have him back you have to wonder if they could over take Bruins as the favorite in the east.
Smokestack Joe
Brodeur is the best goalie of his era, and that includes Patrick Roy, he is way better than that guy.
bobbob1313
I have Vokoun on my fantasy team - he's very solid. He's pretty great. Not Luongo, but nobody is. He's a pretty damn solid goalie on a contending team, and Graig Anderson is a good enough backup. I think we could make some noise in the playoffs.
TCP
You guys see the waiver wire today? Morrison, Voros, Roberts, Satan, all up for grabs. I'd love to see the Canucks grab Morrison, he'd fit well in a third scoring line with Bernier and Raymond or Pyatt. http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=269562&lid...os=secStory_nhl
bobbob1313
Good win for the Panthers tonight. Gotta beat the teams you're supposed to. Going to the game Thursday against the Penguins. They scare me.
TCP
Meh, depending on what they do tomorrow, there's a strong possibility that they won't even make the playoffs. I see the Panthers more likely as being in the playoffs. This is what you get when you spend so much of your cap on two players. They may be two of the best but they can only do so much. http://www.mentalfloss.com/quiz/quiz.php?q=
