u2roolz
This movie is so good even Burt Lancaster is bearable. They almost remade this in 2000 with John Cusack in the Tony Curtis role. Sweet Smell Of Success Remake I forget who the attached director was, but the project disappeared into the night and was never mentioned again.
GtrPlyr
This movie is so good even Burt Lancaster is bearable.Yeah, great film. You gotta admire a film that manages to pull off the rare feat of having its 2 lead characters be so unlikable. I'm not sure which one is worse, I think I'll give the edge to Lancaster's J.J. character.
Beltmann
This movie is so good even Burt Lancaster is bearable. That's probably my favorite Lancaster movie (and I share your opinion of his acting in general). He's been in quite a few good movies, but he's not usually what's memorable about them.
