Sir Stewart
The Cure & MBV. Holy lovecats.
bobbob1313
Holy shit. I might have to do this. Fuck, I like that lineup a lot. And of course, it's the weekend before finals...
OOO
They will never beat the year I snuck in for free, in my book (Even if Wilco didn't show up) :
Moss
Wow, would be tough to pick one day, they balanced them pretty good. I do love Macca and his new album is awesome but MBV! Then you got Band of Horses and Drive by Truckers on day 2! That is a nice 3 days of music. I think day 2 has the most bands I want to see but not big on The Killers. solace
i gotta admit the headliners do nothing for me... now i love Macca and the Cure, but neither are anything that special that you can't see elsewhere or at other festivals. that said, Fri & Sat do look awesome word is Bruuuuuuuuuce will be announced as a surprise headliner for Sat ala Prince last year, since Bruce is in LA the night before and has a few days off... explodo
I wouldn't pay more than 50 cents to see any of the headliners, but the rest of the lineup looks pretty solid.
stickman
I think the price for day tickets is a cool Bozo. Or 100 dollars if you prefer.
bobbob1313
My friend and I are hatching a plan where we leave on that thursday, fly into LA, make our way to the festival, stay until Sunday night but where we get caught is that sunday night because I don't want to miss The Cure, but I have to be back by Monday morning for finals. It'd be really dumb for me to actually try this, but I really want to.
tangara
It doesn't do a lot for me. The headliners are weaksauce, and the undercard is good, but comprised mainly of bands that did the festival circuit last year. Yawn. Show me something new! That said, if it were in my backyard I'd totally go. And I hope Roo has some surprises up their sleeve.
Degenerex
Paul McCartney and the Hold Steady on the same day....
