This got me a little teary

This interview from the Birdge School Benefit may be out there ready. It's nice, but I'm still amazed that his dang hat still holds it's shape. It's like the super hat. (I'm totally obssesed with that hat. Does he)

I find that one of the most joyful things about being human is the ability to communicate with other humans. The technology used in that video is very inspiring, and I'm glad Neil Young is around to give those kids a helping hand.

this was fantastic.

the bridge school is a fantastic place!

as a person with a physical disability, it is awesome to know that this is out there helping kids and opening so many doors for them.

Agreed. Neil Young, Jeff Tweedy, amazing people. :yes

I understand getting teary at this. I hope there comes a day when this kind of thing is commonplace enough not to elicit an emotional response.

Probably a bit overwhelmed by the whole thing. It's not a reality most of us face all that often, and he was having his reaction filmed close up at the time.

Man, Jeff is a just a top shelf bloke.

He really is.

Not to take the attention off of Jeff, but in a way I know the feeling.. My band played a benefit for the Special Olympics a few years ago. Those kids thought that we were the biggest Rock Stars in the world! We signed autographs and everything.. It really made their day.... It was a very rewarding experience. :)

I do, too. My band played at UW-Madison and there was an autistic man dancing right in front of the stage, just having a total blast. The wheelchair that he was sitting in before the show became totally useless when the music started. These videos are great; Neil Young was funny.
