I was having a devil of a time importing my Wilco Book CD onto my iTunes, only to discover the disk to be cracked :ohwell . Even though I always keep the book on top of a stack, I guess I should have removed it for safekeeping anyway. Does anybody know how I can at least acquire a copy or download of the songs without having to repurchase the book? Thank you.

Yeah mine cracked too. If you post a picture of yourself with said book and said disc and a forlorn look on your face I could maybe help you out though.

Message me with your shipping address and I'll send you a burned copy of the CD.

I appreciate you very much for doing this. I have tried to message you, but for some reason I'm not permitted to message anyone. I am logged-in, so I don't know what the problem is. Anybody know what I need to do?

I think the message system is down at the moment, might have to wait.

Apparently the PM system will be down for quite awhile.

If anyone is willing to help me out, I can be contacted at my hotmail account, which is: sunkentreasure

In appreciation for your assistance, I will gladly pay you back in cheeseburgers on Tuesday. :thumbup

Thank you.

Happened to me too (the 'clip' holding the cd is way too strong!!). I wrote to the publishers (or was it the distributor?) and they replaced it.

(actually they sent me another book with the cd!!) :cheekkiss

You think they'd still do that after all this time and if it was the distributor, is it different from how a U.S. distributor would handle it?

And thanks again to SgtPepper64 for sending me a copy (it's currently in the mail).

I've been wanting to listen to "The High Heat" for some time now.
