junkiesmile
Why the F#@k are the Cedar Park (not Austin) tickets not available? The Dallas tickets are.
Sweet Papa Crimbo
What at first appeared to be a tragedy of the first order (Wilco show in Dallas on a FRIDAY night during highschool football season with a teenage son?) However...it is an open date!!! Crow and D=man will be there with bells on!
junkiesmile
Still trying to find a way to pre-order Cedar Park tickets. I went to www.theseats.com and this was their bio for Wilco. The members of Wilco met in grade school. The group used to sell their CDs out of their van at school. Wilco began performing at the college club City. The guitaristdiscovered his love of music by listening to his dad's record collection. Wilco’s single climbed the charts quickly, giving them national exposure. Wilco talked to a program director from B100.9 and got their single on air. The girlfriend of a record executive heard the song and soon after Wilco was signed. Wilco hope this next tour brings in more fans than ever. The band may have recently finished their newest album, but they are already plotting the next move. Critics have generally praised Wilco for their ability to rile up the crowd during live shows. A music critic from Houston, Cypher Tomaselli, has always been pleased with band’s terrific drummer. Wilco’s new album has received superb reviews from all the critics, including Tim Jenson from Detroit and Warren Fraiser from San Antonio. The band loves playing in Raleigh because they played their first sold out show there. Wilco respects the fact that their fans love their past albums, so they go to great effort to incorporate the previous hits with the newest ones. TheSeats.com is the one stop shop for the band, with Wilco tickets, concert seating charts, and touring schedule. Ha Ha

MWB
Never been to the Palladium in Dallas before. What's the capacity, and how quickly do you Dallas people think it will sell out? I don't know if I'll be around tomorrow and may not be able to order tickets until later.

euthe
well I hope they don't play at cedar park because I have no idea why Wilco would play there! Please don't play in a hockey rink!!! COME TO THE AUSTIN MUSIC HALL, PARAMOUNT, or the BASS CONCERT HALL. If I could have it my way i'd love to see them fit themselves and all their equipment in the Parish, hehe. Nice little venue there They played at The Parish (formerly The Mercury Room) as summerteeth for SXSW one year. What a great venue!
lucifer sam
The Palladium Ballroom in Dallas has a VIP seating option. It's a roped off area behind the sound board with tables chairs and drink servers. Anyone have any experience with the venue? Would this be a good way to see the show? aggies08
I really wish they were playing at stubbs again, that was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. The Palladium Ballroom is going to be jam packed and no one will give a shit if it's anything like the My Morning Jacket concert I went to last year. I guess I'll be trying out the new venue. Come on down a couple of steps and party with real people. Seriously, I don't think the elevation of the area behind the sounboard will provide a very good view if you are sitting. saul goode
So what is the deal with this front gate business? Does anybody have any real experience using it for a seated venue? I would like to think that the choicest seats would be available during the pre-sale, but some how I doubt that. Luck of the draw, some logical ordered system... anybody know? If not, I guess I'll find out in the morning. SG

I just hate the idea of staking out a good spot near the front and then feeling like a hostage if I want another beer or to go to the bathroom.

I just hate the idea of staking out a good spot near the front and then feeling like a hostage if I want another beer or to go to the bathroom. if you don't drink any beer usually you will not have to piss. i usually sacrifice not having a few beers as well as save some $ if it means a up close view of a great rock show.
