othersongs
I'm looking for a good set list from this past summer that includes tunes from WTA and an overall great set list and a recording that has the best quality... I just thought I'd ask which show or recording to download instead of just taking a chance. Any ones come to mind? Thanks!
indy81
The Schoeps source of the Coney Island show is the best I've heard, as far as setlist plus sound quality. There's a recording of the Red Rocks show that is also excellent.
theashtraysays
Red Rocks.
gepman
Third vote for Red Rocks... You should be able to get it from COTapers.org
billydee
I would add my vote for the Wappingers Falls NY show. I've listened to both Brooklyn and Red Rocks and I still think this one is a better overall sounding recording and a very well played show.
itstillmoves84
I would add my vote for the Wappingers Falls NY show. I agree. Theologians; Poor Places > Kidsmoke. Top choice. What an amazing night that was.
kagee
Red Rocks is pretty good but Coney Island gets my vote. There are about 3 versions of it floating around but I think the source I grabbed on ttd is the best of them. NYCTaper's version of the Wappinger Falls show is pretty damn good as well. choo-choo-charlie
I'm curious about other versions of the Red Rocks recording. I have one [many appreciative thank you's to the VC'er who sent me a copy] and it's a great reminder of one of the best shows I attended, but the sound quality in my opinion is ok - yet I've heard so many people praise it here...
