WaronWar
Is it coming out on vinyl? Just curious. The other two On Fillmore's aren't I don't think, but times have changed. LouieB Yeah (for only $12.50 plus shipping), here's the link: http://www.scdistribution.com/cat/scd_catalognew.php?action=set_site_id&site_id=5 I am glad that more artists and labels are releasing on albums on vinyl again because I honestly think the quality is so much better after buying CDs for most of my life (which hasn't been too long yet). And on a side note, I always meant to pick up "sleeps with fishes" the last couple of years, yet I never have. And thanks choo-choo-charlie for the avatar comment! bleedorange
My brain keeps trying to tell me that the title of this thread is "On Fillmore on MY Terms." I've been at VC too long...

theashtraysays
It all makes sense why Wilco and Tortoise were doing gigs together now. Tortoise needed help with their "math rock," so they went to the "dad rock" for help...hardy har har har. I'm not seeing the connection. Most of us dads aren't that good at math. And the last thing I want is quadratic equations in my ipod.

bjorn_skurj
Am I the only one here who doesn't know what "math rock" is?I did not know until relatively recently. Apparently, it is NOT love songs to the quadratic equation, standard deviations and geometry proofs.

mpolak21
Pitchfork weighs in with an 8.0 http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/13694-extended-vacation/ Naturally there's a back-handed shot at Wilco Makes it On Fillmore's most enduring album, too. (The Album) included, it's the only essential Wilco-related release of 2009.
