bobbob1313
So what are the chances they play a cover of "Thirteen" by Big Star? What about a guest appearnce by Feist? Seems likely as this is a Miami show..coming off a weekend. With Alex Chilton's passing, I would say "Thirteen" is not a bad guess.
u2roolz
According to my Wilco "official" (i think it's official?) Facebook group: Less than 40 tickets remain for tonight's show.

Sorry for the short hand. Hope you can pick it out. I've seen a few VCers but haven't been able to say hi. Sorry, guys. I'm not rude, I'm just a little shy. Jeff yelled at two videotapers already. It kind of ruined "Impossible Germany", as he kind of stopped playing. I had to tap the guy on the shoulder and let him know Jeff wanted him to stop. Pulled a kid with a sign up on stage to sing and play guitar to "California stars". That was awesome.

I was hoping in an evening of wilco we would get an acoustic set a la Pearl JAm in their boston shows a few years back. This should be awesome.

jeffgarf
Have to say - What an amazing show! Thirty or so songs and a Big Star encore. I cannot wait for tomorrow in Clearwater when we can do it all over again.
rhino4evr
Have to say - What an amazing show! Thirty or so songs and a Big Star encore. I cannot wait for tomorrow in Clearwater when we can do it all over again. I'll be honest I was a little disappointed with the show last night. Don't get me wrong, they played an excellent show, and sounded amazing, but I was hoping for a older song setlist. Maybe it's just my general dislike for pretty much all the songs from Wilco the Album. I was hoping seeing them live would change my opinion of them, but it only cemented that fact. I can't believe they skipped playing Via Chicago or She's a Jar to play something as boring as "I'll Fight" The Spiders acoustic was a cool idea, but it got kinda lost in transition. I would have preferred if they plugged in for that. Lack of Don't Forget The Flowers during the acoustic set was disappointing as well. I don't know maybe my expectations were just too high... I still had a great time, but like always I wanted them to play longer..and they played from 8:45 to 11:45..with only a 15 min break. Another cool moment, I don't think Jeff sang ANY of Jesus Etc. The entire song (including the chorus) was sung by teh audience. Finally, the show was not that crowded. I expected a much bigger turn out. AND they were not checking tickets AT ALL. So all you balcony people could have come down and partied with the downstaris folks if you wanted to. My buddy was in the PIT right with us, and he has Mezzanine seats. If I recall, Jeff even mentioned that he was impressed that the crowd knew and could sing the whole song. Having not been to Miami in so long he must have been surprised that the fans could do this (and so was I, to be honest - I don't personally know many Wilco fans in S. Fla, but they were there). Folks are saying the show did sell out. I think that the crowd was able to fit itself into the Pit, even though tickets were sold with seat assignments.
