  • 2 weeks later...

Anyone know if this T-shirt swap is going to happen? Its been a couple weeks and haven't seen anything yet. Its nice of them to do it, just curious where they are since mine are now rags.

I must have missed something. What's this all about? Defective t-shirts?

from an e-mail on agu 30th:

Greetings Solid Sounders,

Last week, we discovered a few of our latest shirts (all sold at Solid Sound) have an issue with excessive shrinking when tumbled dry. The defective shirts - indigo Solid Sound Tee (both olive and orange prints), pale yellow Solid Sound Stache Tee and brown Wilco 70s Tee - are all made in the USA, using yarn that was not woven correctly. Because this cotton yarn wasn't woven tightly, the shirts experience a considerable amount of shrinkage and torque when washed. Thus, we will be replacing these defective shirts with new, US-made tees (with properly woven cotton of course).

Thanks. I didn't receive this email and neither did Hazel, though, so I wonder if you could post the header information, like who sent it. I bought the pale yellow stache shirt and have had the same problem. I wonder what mailing list they're using to send out the emails. At any rate, I would be glad to try to follow up with the sender once I know who it was. Thanks!

I found it in my junk mail folder randomly. I hope they come soon!
