lost highway
See, I've a hard time swallowing that you can listen to White Chalk "all of the time". Or Regina Spektor. I like both artists, don't get me wrong. I know what you mean. Strange enough, White Chalk is actually one of my favorites. Especially in the fall. But that brings us back to the "all of the time" part of it. I might have a harder time being in the mood for 'Dry'. Every month that passes, more recorded music is available. I have a 120 GB Ipod that is always finding new content. So, in a way my listening doesn't really follow the "all the time" prescription, since I have so much stuff I can spontaneously gravitate towards. "All of the time" is more like: what really seemed like a good idea that morning/afternoon/night. Couple that reality with the massive variety of vinyl LP's that can be bought for two or three bucks at used record stores and good music is endless. I guess I chose that long list of bands because everything I have from them is good, and most of it is great.

Sweet Papa Crimbo
Hmmm...the 'pretty much all the time' caveat gives me pause. There are some artists who have some releases I find unlistenable but love everything else. Guess that takes care of the qualification.
