bböp
The weekend Solid Sound Schedule is up at http://solidsoundfestival.com/ Just saw the tweet that recently went out. Psyched to see Jamie Lidell got added. I don't think that was part of the original announcement, was it? And I guess no Jeff (and friends) solo or Sonic Youth. Boo. I'm as much of a Levon fan as anybody, but I can see people leaving early on Sunday, especially if they've got a long drive home. Jeff and friends to close it out would retain more people, I think. Oh, and cool that Syl Johnson and the Sweet Divines are going to be opening for Wilco on Saturday. One of the best shows I saw last year, though it'll be interesting to see how it translates to a bigger stage.

Preferred B
I see they're doing the poster retrospective again. They should really ask fans for submissions. It was fun seeing the posters last year, but I know some people with more extensive personal Wilco poster collections than were reflected in that exhibit. I love that there aren't many conflicts on the schedule. And it's nice to have Wilco Friday and Saturday, and then side projects on Sunday.
Wendy
I noticed some tweets on the Solid Sound page ... here's one that'll save you some bucks EugeneMirman: Hey! Want discounted "Early Worm" tickets to @wilco's @solidsoundfest at Mass MoCa in June? Follow this link: http://tiny.cc/3yzgt $25 off.
u2roolz
I was all excited to bring my jammies with me for Friday night, but then I realized that Pajama Party features Neil Finn. I think we'll get something with Tweedy on Sunday. Then again I'm under the assumption that one of the Wilco shows may end up being like the "Acoustic" set at last year's An Evening With shows. Or at least a good sized portion of the show. It's only a hunch and nothing else. Is anyone else a wee bit confused by the layout of this schedule. It's going to be a b***** to print out. Nevermind. I found a much larger print here....Solid Sound Schedule magnified
The Inside of Outside
I love that there aren't many conflicts on the schedule. And it's nice to have Wilco Friday and Saturday, and then side projects on Sunday.I agree on both counts. I am looking forward to seeing the Autumn Defense on Sunday. I see some acts in the schedule to take a pass on , which offers some down time and some time for checking out the art, etc. I like that the schedule does not appear frenetic or overwhelming - just the right amount of activity for me. When the acts were announced, it was interesting to see who was going to play. Having the schedule makes it more concrete for me, and thus more exciting. Now the countdown begins. thejokeexplained
Purling Hiss is a interesting choice to kick off the music. Polar opposite of last years Pronto kickoff set. Last year we were tapped. This year a punch is thrown!
worldrecordplayer
I was thinking that as well, but I wonder if there will be rumors (hopefully true) that Jeff will share the stage some with Levon. When I first saw the list of artists, I assumed/hoped that Levon would be in the Saturday pre-Wilco slot that Mavis had last year. I was pumped for that. This schedule is taking a little getting used to. Hope/expect Tweedy and others will join the Levon band to close it out, it is their festival after all! I agree on both counts. I am looking forward to seeing the Autumn Defense on Sunday. I see some acts in the schedule to take a pass on , which offers some down time and some time for checking out the art, etc. I like that the schedule does not appear frenetic or overwhelming - just the right amount of activity for me. Some "down time" in the music schedule for me means joining my wife at the comedy theater, which had some very funny sets last year.
Ricksmith
Final song of the weekend: Levon Helm Band plays "I Shall Be Released" with Jeff Tweedy on vocals.
