The Inside of Outside
Thought just this morning that they'll probably hit Australia sometime after the winter European leg. Did not think they would have it announced so soon. The tour dates keep rolling out. How about back to the east coast in May/June, ending with Solid Sound III?
bböp
Heart just skipped!!!!!!!!!! Yay! Happy for you guys (even if it's not likely I'll be able to get there)!
Wise Enough
Oh my god oh my god oh my god!!! Sooo excited!!! Still on maternity leave then now I just need to find babysitters in each city... I see they're playing the Forum and Tivoli again, I love those venues. I'm all for a standing show, though playing the Opera House OS very iconic. Happy happy happy happy!!! monster
I hate to be the pooper of the party - and I'd love to be wrong on this - but I think those dates listed are are just Nick Lowe gigs. None of the European dates listed for Nick correspond to the Wilco tour dates - so I think Yeproc have just neglected to take the note that related to the shows he did in the US with Wilco off the foot of Nick's tour dates page. Jeebus, I hope i'm wrong though!
Wise Enough
I think you're right... Can only find tickets for nick Lowe at websites. Let me just give a resounding boooooooooo!!!!!!
Fritz
Good Lord, I've never been through so many emotions in such a short space of time. Was just about to text friends the good news with shaky hands but then read the rest of the posts. I think they're right...these are Nick Lowe shows only. Sydney Opera House website has that date listed as a Nick Lowe show. We can only be patient down here...
jen
Damn, excited and then disappointed all in the space of 2 minutes!

Scott Gyrrr
Welll it's awesome that Nick Lowe is coming down this way anyway. Wilco fans should definitely go.
Fritz
I don't know much Nick Lowe material at all but I do love the cheekiness of "I Love My Label".
Divemistress of the Dark
Come on, y'all. I can't be the only one here who's seen both Nick Lowe AND Wilco upwards of ten times. Love 'em both - if anyone hears of any incident where Nick Lowe plans to appear onstage with Paul Kelly (the only other artist save Elvis Costello I've also seen more than 10), let me know, as I'll have to hock a body part getting to Oz ; (just flew to Vancouver to see Paul Kelly, matter of fact...unlike Nick Lowe he never plays in Nashville, where I live.) bböp
Well, if they do make it out here, I hope you can come along. Welcome to stay with us in Melbourne. Thanks so much! Would be great to see you again, of course. But whether I can get there or not, I'm sure they'll make it out to your neck of the woods within the next six months or so... Feels like they're already a year late to hit these shores again havin been spoilt to see them in 08,09 and 10.I actually had a funny dream last night where I was in a show foyer with tickets to a Jeff Buckley show in one theatre but desperate to get into the Wilco show next door instead, lol.
