choo-choo-charlie
There's just a lot of enthusiasm for "product," that's all. More so than most. Just an observation.
linclink
Must admit, somtimes, I think the same thing about linclink - a person with same member name as linclink plays the same role(promote live releases and the band in general) on another board I frequent - not a complaint, just an observation. The Steve Hoffman Forum...yeah I put up the Roadcase releases thread there as well...& keep other Wilco news updated there as best I can...great Forum... There's just a lot of enthusiasm for "product," that's all. More so than most. Just an observation.Hey kickbacks are kickbacks... Actually I think they have highly outstanding quality merch...& it's worth alerting the faithful here to Wilco stuff, because it appears to often be limited & when they're gone, they're gone......but much more so than that is the music & the Roadcase downloads are the best...wish other bands did as much...& hope they end up doing older shows sooner than later (hopefully when on recording hiatus)...I also think it's very exciting for the folks who went to these particular shows to find out that they are now available...I know it was for me when I had shows that I'd been to become Roadcase releases (5 of them actually- all 3 NYC shows, Cooperstown & Rochester)... calvino
Nothing wrong with being enthusiastic about Wilco and their releases.
choo-choo-charlie
Nope, there really isn't. In fact, after five or so repeat listens of the Terminal 5 show streaming in the Roadcase, I think I will buy it.

choo-choo-charlie
You are much more into statistics than I am. I know some folks get tired of hearing many of the live staples at every show they attend, but I'm usually happy to just get a chance to see them at all. I've never seen multiple shows on one tour, so it's never really mattered to me how many times they've played a song or what I heard at the previous show 2 or 3 years before... linclink
Note- the setlist for this show initially listed on the Wilco website for Roadcase Show #10 was wrong..."Sameul70" pointed it in the "Wilco (officially released live shows)" thread in the "Just A Fan" section here, & I myself noticed it when I downloaded the show yesterday...I've corrected in in my original post here...and this is in fact the correct set list7/18/12 set list:01 - Misunderstood02 - Art of Almost03 - I Might04 - I Am Trying to Break Your Heart05 - Born Alone06 - Side with the Seeds07 - Spiders (Kidsmoke)08 - Impossible Germany09 - Kamera10 - Laminated Cat (aka Not For The Season)11 - Standing O12 - At Least That's What You Said13 - Jesus, Etc.14 - I Must Be High15 - Whole Love16 - Can't Stand It17 - Candyfloss18 - Dawned On Me19 - Shot in the ArmEncore:20 - Airline to Heaven21 - Christ for President22 - Walken23 - I'm the Man Who Loves You24 - Dreamer in My Dreams
smells like flowers
Makes me look very forward to the three nights in a row at Solid Sound this next Summer. What 'choo talkin' about, Willis? Do you know something we don't know? I realize the event is three days but are there really three nights in a row of Wilco at Solid Sound 2013???
Magnetized
I think Jeff wrote a song about this--called Wishful Thinking. Would be nice though, and the perfect solution to my internal debate as to which I'd prefer: two nights of Wilco or one Wilco and one Tweedy solo.

I realize the event is three days but are there really three nights in a row of Wilco at Solid Sound 2013???I've never been to Solid Sound, but am going this year...I was just basing it on the fact, that...at their website, Wilco has three nights listed for Solid Sound & you are able to request songs for all three nights...I think maybe I'll drop an email & see if I can find out what's up? I've gotta say I was/am really hoping for a Tweedy solo show there too...so we'll see...sorry if I got anyone's hopes up wrongfully...will let you know if I hear back...http://wilcoworld.net/#!/shows/

smells like flowers
Bought the Roadcase #10 download of this show...it's such a great setlist with some tunes that don't show up very often (Kamera, Candyfloss, I Must Be High). But the highlight of listening to it is Laminated Cat. The song comes across as fairly minimal in a live setting, but I just listened with headphones on and it has so many cool yet subtle sounds layered throughout. NOW I can hear what Mikael and Pat were doing the whole time. Fantastic!
