choo-choo-charlie
Martin Short was terrific last night. I was in stitches during "You're a Rat Bastard, Charlie Brown" and "The Royal OBGYNs." Outstanding.

Outstanding. Yeah, Martin did a good job. The show usually works better when a real comedian hosts I find.
choo-choo-charlie
Perhaps they should have more aging [good] comedians host the show.

Guest Don Draper
Natalie Portman's tap and Queen Latifah's Excedrin Racial Tension headaches are amazing. Â Chris Farley's "van down by the river" bit was never, ever funny. Whatever talents he had SNL grossly misused.
Guest Don Draper
Oh my god, and the Jennifer Aniston TV country compilation commercial was fucking brilliant. I probably find that on the internet once every three months or so to rewatch it.

Guest Don Draper
A lot of people think so, and they're not wrong, but a running bit that always ends with a man screaming pretty much the same punchline each time (which wasn't funny for me the first time either), really doesn't do it for me. I'm only familiar with the one with Christina Applegate. I'm a huge hater of the Spade/Sandler/Farley years on SNL, but that shit was funny, Dick.
Analogman
That was the first one. I believe there were several sketches featuring the character over a period of 4 years or so.
Guest Don Draper
Ha, if that's the case then I've basically only watched one episode of SNL from that era approximately a dozen times. Definitely not outside the realm of possibility though. Â Like I said, people love it. It's funny to many/most. I just don't dig it. Â But funny people are fat, I concede that point. Guest Don Draper
Wow I said that didn't I? Very grateful for an office with a door while I laugh uncontrollably.
