mountain bed
Also, always enjoyed a Hell in a Bucket opener.Best thing about Bucket? It was even money to be followed by Sugaree! How many of that combo did we see?

froggie
Nope, definitely not the 87 tour. Its 1980 or 1981. I would never confuse those two completely different tours.might not be a complete show then, cause they all started with a gospel or acoustic tune
nedb
Saw Pearl Jam open with Alive in Newcastle in 2006. The place went nuts...
Sir Stewart
might not be a complete show then, cause they all started with a gospel or acoustic tune Yeah, according to the Dylan site's setlists, Like A Rolling Stone was usually the second or third song around that time. Sweet Papa Crimbo
Springsteen has had a couple of notable openers.. In the club dates before he recorded BTR, he opened with a killer piano and violin arrangement of Incident on 57th STreet.During the BORN TO RUN tour, he opened with a wonderful piano arrangement of Thunder Road. And of course in the monumental tour supporting BORN IN THE USA, the opener was iconic and mythic.
