CortezTheKiller
Tell me 'bout them, please.Nashville-based sleazy, stoner band. Only been together for a couple years, yet have cranked out a number of albums and EPs. Currently touring in support of Black Lips. Most songs about the holy trinity of rock & roll - booze, drugs & sex (women in their case). Lots of loose, ragged riff-heavy rock and blues with splashes of country here & there. Many influences in their sound - Stones, Faces, Tom T. Hall, JJ Cale, Sabbath, Ramones, VU, UT, to name a few. Here are a couple of clips from an in-studio performance for Rollo & Grady:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq-88af4jCw

Oil Can Boyd
Beautiful guitar work. That's a great one. About a year ago I saw him open for another band. I did not know him but he was fantastic.
choo-choo-charlie
That's a great one. About a year ago I saw him open for another band. I did not know him but he was fantastic. I'm loving this, and the one before it. Love the weird effects and trombone mixed in with the electric 12-string. Spacey-folk-Americana.
