The Inside of Outside
Thank you! Watching now.
randomname
Man, that was incredible. What a performance. And whoever edited this did a top notch job and has obviously seen Wilco before, always getting the right picture at the right time.Amazing how you can always get something new from these songs. At the very end of Bull Black Nova, at the "pick up" part, that last guitar riff seemed like a telephone line going dead. Maybe that's either completely obvious or completely misguided, but it never occurred to me before.
The Inside of Outside
Sounded and looked lovely. The keyboards were amazing in Pot Kettle Black, as noted earlier. I thought the Scmilco songs sounded much more fleshed out live; they had a little meat to them, thanks to Nels.
Blackberry Rust
Astoundingly good - that's got to be one of the best sounding Wilco shows I've ever heard. I concur with the observations re: keyboards - they sound amazing and clear. Overall, the recent performances that I've heard sound like the best of their career - like a precisely engineered organism that's having a hell of a time on-stage. It's quite remarkable really..and weirdly life affirming too..I'm glad these guys are still around. Now, please come back to Australia. I will travel from Adelaide to wherever. TCP
Direct YouTube link if anyone wants to watch on their TV or whatever: https://youtu.be/OTdkHV9YsIk
nalafej
I enjoyed the keyboards during the show too. I assumed they were louder in the mix than the band would want given that I've never heard them like that. Meanwhile you all assume that was as intended. Interesting. TCP
I'm watching now. Great camera work considering it doesn't appear anything changed with the stage lighting, sometimes the stage is really dark which would mean a really narrow field of focus for the camera operators. But the crew did really good! The mix definitely doesn't sound like anything I've heard from the band, I'm assuming the crew must have done their own mix (??). Jeff's vocals are relatively quiet, but as others mentioned the keyboards are really loud, as are some of the backup vocals (as I type I'm on Pot Kettle Black and Pat's are normal, but I definitely heard John's being louder than normal earlier). Mikael often does a lot of subtle stuff, so if nothing else, it's interesting to hear that pushed to the forefront for once. Some really cool angles in here too, it's neat to see what Mikael and Pat are up to when they're on the keys.
mus2009
Going to put this up on the tv tonight, thanks!
The Inside of Outside
I'm Always in Love - love this version! In fact, I am digging the reworked Heavy Metal Drummer, too (not a favorite of mine).
mus2009
While it may be my favorite song on YHF, I've never been a huge fan of Pot Kettle Black live. However this is the best version of PKB I've heard. Brilliant.

twoshedsjackson
Watched it last night on my tv. What a fantastic show! If they released this on DVD I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
