John Smith
http://soundbreaking.com/ I stumbled across this program on CBS tonight. They spent some time on the Beatles and Beach Boys that was pretty interesting.

jff
Yes PBS. I stumbled on it tonight. Now I have to find the first episode. If you have Amazon Prime, it's streaming for free. PBS is supposed to have it online, too.I really enjoyed ep. 1, and am looking forward to the whole series. Warren Zanes' blog about the first episode is a good read. http://www.pbs.org/soundbreaking/blogs/inside-look/searching-for-the-perfect-producer/

Lammycat
Apparently they're going to speak with Betty Cantor-Jackson. You know I'll be all over that.I read somewhere she was doing sound for a major tech company these days (for large conferences/conventions). She's also done a bunch of live/studio recordings with the CRB the past few years. She did sound for a 30night run out here at Quixote's a bunch of years ago for Stir Fried w/ Vasser Clements in early 2000s. I'd be nice to to catch this one.... calvino
Just watched Ep. 2. Still good stuff. Reading the 66 Beatles book, now - perfect timing watching this episode, just finished the chapter about Lennon wanting to swing from the ceiling. Betty show info - it will be Ep. 8 (saving the best for last, I guess) http://liveforlivemusic.com/news/grateful-dead-betty-cantor-jackson-featured-upcoming-soundbreakers-episode/
