Very sad, but grateful for all the joy he brought. Trying to remember all the times I saw him, from the GD, Ratdog, Other Ones, The Dead, Wolf Bros, and sitting in with other acts over the years, I think I'm at 22. Lot's of great memories, and a catalogue of songs in depth and genius that surpasses 99% of anyone out there. Hang it up and see what tomorrow brings.

Yeah  - a tough, tough one. I didn't realize he was going through treatment and such.  Since 1989, I would at least hit one show every 2 years. None in 2025 for me, so I was looking forward to this year. 

 

At least we have all the music he left behind.
