I'm a little late to the discussion but I wanted to chime in with my favorite comic book movies. I loved X-men 2 and Spiderman 2 just because beyond special effects and villains and all those other things they captured the essence of what those characters are about. The train sequence in Spiderman 2 reminded me of that early issue in the Ditko run where Spiderman has to lift that large piece of machinery. Also cool was how the train passengers stuck up for Spidey, showcasing that sense of his closeness to New York that's an important part of the comic. With X-men 2 I was sold after that great

They should just stick with the five unreleased albums for the box set and not put on songs that people already have from previous albums. Anybody who buys this almost certainly has all of his albums.

So it turns out that even though the show was listed as 7:30 that was when doors opened. The show was supposed to start at 9 but Ryan and the band didn't come out until 9:30 p.m. They proceeded to play for more than two hours, including a three-song encore that ended with a killer extended version of "Magnolia Mountain." I'd seen him three times before and I'd say this is the most focused and consistenly engaging one I've been to. I liked the semi-acoustic format and thought the Cardinals sounded awesome. Does anyone know if there's an opening act for this tour? I'm going to see him tomorrow night and wanted to figure out how early I have to get there. The show is listed at 7:30 p.m. and I may not be able to get there that early.

Target has it listed for 7.98 plus promise the bonus disc which Best Buy and Circuit City don't mention.

I wouldn't call the Tribune article a hit. Greg Kot basically said it was decent but nothing to get too excited about. I'm still excited about seeing them at the Fillmore later this month. It'll be great to hear some of those classic Pumpkins songs.

Y'know, I know a lot of people like to complain about him being so prolific but I don't see why people get annoyed by it. It's not like you have to buy the new album when it comes out. If you want to wait a couple years before buying it, you can do that. The album will still be available in the stores. Those of us who do want to hear new stuff dont' have to wait as long. Everyone wins.

I hope this means an appearance at Coachella. Their schedule fits right in.
