Did anyone here ever get ahold of his newest album "Translate Takemitu"? I'm pretty sure it was only released in Japan, so the import price on Amazon is pretty steep. From what I heard it was solo piano with some electronics. Anyone know anything else about it?

I almost feel sorry for everyone who lives in Chicago, now you have to choose between Wilco, Andrew Bird, The Black Keys AND Tenacious D.

Damn good show, everything just sounded so tight. Did anyone else catch Pat's Rick Wakeman-action during Kingpin?

Just got my tickets and finalized a hotel reservation today. The music line up for Saturday looks great! Poortranslator, it might help to sway your parents if you let them check out the Tall Stacks website or something. It's seems like a pretty big festival, so I'm sure the security surrounding the event and large amount of people attending will keep the 'danger' to a minimum.

Now-a-days when Wilco plays Poor Places it usually fades into noise which then provides a transition into another song. Perhaps the lack of the YHF transmission is to make that transition a little smoother?

I always thought it was more of a statement of the music being of greater than or equal importance to the band that actually made it.

We were with the really tall guy, I was standing directly to his right. One of my friends who was standing a little more towards the Nels-side of the stage took that video.

Really looking forward to seeing this flick, I've heard Steve Carrell is just plain halarious in it. Hopefully in emerges from the art-houses soon, and into some small theatres around my area...

I just want a Wii so I can play some of my old GameCube games. My old GC gave out a few months ago and I figure at this point it would be stupid to invest in a new one...
