  1. 99 pigs and a big-assed orangutan? It might be helpful if you capitalized the letters that are standing in for words. I can't tell if those "a"s are words that begin with A or just the word "a."
  2. He's up there, but I doubt he's anywhere near the Stones, or even the Dead. He hasn't toured nearly as often, I'm guessing. Plus, the years that he probably could have been playing to the most people ('67-'69) he wasn't touring at all. edit: OK, that's probably not true -- shows weren't quite as big back then, I'm guessing. But still, being in a studio-only band during those years put him at a bit of a deficit. He sure plays to big crowds when he does tour, though. The Stones were playing huge stadium shows back when virtually no one else was. They've been playing to 30,000 or more (usuall
  3. I bet they don't. But I also bet that they're a solid # 2.
  4. Off the subject, though this thread made me think of it -- I'd be interested in seeing a cumulative attendance figure for all Rolling Stones shows throughout the years. Has anyone ever performed in front of more total people than Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Charlie Watts? I rather doubt it.
  5. Yeah, after initially thinking this was a good idea, I haven't come up with another decent one yet. I saw a slightly different version of this "intelligence test" a few years back, and one that I remember from that is: 50 W to L Y L
  6. thanks for sharing. EDIT: This is Sir Stewart.
  7. OK, so let's come up with some others ... guess the previous one and throw out one of your own. I'll start... 31 F of I C at B-R.
  8. I like that idea ... but for sake of recognition, it'd probably be better to go with Blackburn Lancashire. 4000 H in B L edit: SS beat me to it.
  9. I thought they were a ridiculous band even back in the pre-Fester days.
  10. Wade Phillips? That's the best Jerry Jones could come up with?
  11. I'm thinking I'll probably go see them if I can get good enough tickets ... and I HATE stadium shows. So yes, I think they'll probably fill stadiums.
  12. --> QUOTE(Paul B @ Feb 7 2007, 04:48 PM) Snore........one of the most overrated Chicago bands of all time. Yup.
  13. If I understand your question correctly ... in my post above, use your cursor to select text -- the text is white to match the background ("hidden").
  14. I just thought the thread title could have been better chosen. That's all. It could be argued that I make my share of gay jokes (especially when it comes to that dreamboat ction) -- I merely thought that the title of this thread was an inappropriate way to introduce the subject. Is it impossible to comment on a news story like this without poking fun at it? Are men still so insecure with the thought of homosexuality that they can't discuss it seriously? Wait, what am I saying ... this is VC. That's just what we do here. And come to think of it, I guess I wouldn't have it any other way. S
  15. Oh, I "get" it. I just don't much care for it. To quote an Ohio journalist, "I
  16. For them what wants 'em, answers are hidden in the box below.

  18. Um, care to explain that thread title?
  19. I figured out 31 after realizing something about the test (which is included in my hint in the initial post above). That put me in the proper frame of mind. I knew the terminology only because a while ago I decided that I would learn a bit about that particular subject ... I'd always been curious.
