QFT. If he produced it, I probably don't want to listen to it. I hate that trademark Lynne sound. Cloud Nine and Full Moon Fever are both great albums ... but in my opinion, they would have been far greater albums without Lynne's heavy hand.

NPR, Salon.com, MSNBC.com, Freep.com (Detroit Free Press), AnnArbor.com (formerly the Ann Arbor News), PBS (NewsHour), BBC.co.uk, and other websites as necessary (I click around a lot to follow stories). I'd say it was Best Buy that ran all the good stores out of business -- there were Best Buys everywhere, but Towers tended to exist only in major metropolitan areas. Since their peak, Best Buy (and Borders) have drastically cut back on the number of CDs they stock, so they suck major ass now too. Maybe that provides an opening for a seriously good CD store. Or maybe everyone's too hooked on downloading now to make such a store viable.
