  1. I blocked several drunks from having an adverse effect on the taping of that one. The Palace was the last club that I remember seeing Wilco in. It's been theaters and outdoors since then. My list, by the way. Wilco 1999/05/05 Cincinnati, OH 1999/11/05 Cincinnati, OH 2002/11/02 Tampa, FL 2002/11/03 Gainesville, FL 2003/04/22 Lexington, KY 2003/06/21 Pittsburgh, PA 2004/09/23 Atlanta, GA 2004/09/24 Asheville, NC 2007/10/11 Omaha, NE 2007/10/16 Columbus, OH Jeff 2006/02/18 Lincoln, NE
  2. It might have been from Steppin' Out with the Grateful Dead.
  3. Amazing show! Hadn't seen them since the Atlanta>Raleigh run from 2004. Loved seeing all the old school tunes, but I was a bit surprised about how little they hit Ghost. Regardless, the wife and I had an awesome time. Hopefully, I'll be seeing them in Columbus next week.
  4. Just noticed that I was also missing: How To Fight Loneliness - Kicking Television bonus track from music today
  5. You're very welcome. Glad you enjoyed it. It would be nice to see them put the iTunes bonus track out in a non-lossy format. That tune rocks hard!
  6. My iPod crashed and in trying to reassemble my Wilco collection, I realized that I didn't have backups of a few non-album tracks, namely: Old Maid - from the You Can Never Go Fast Enough soundtrack Let Me Come Home - from the Amos House Collection, Vol. 3 Just a Kid - from the Spongebob Squarepants soundtrack Ideally, I'd like to get these in lossless formats, but anything of a decent bitrate would do. If anyone can help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it.
  7. Alice Coltrane passed away on Friday. We lost 2 giants this weekend. http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070114/ts_al...us_070114220306
  8. I can't say I've ever heard Squeeze, but I own every other commercial CD that's ever been released with the VU name on it. That said, I don't know how anyone could ever call an album without Lou Reed a VU album. Come on... It's like calling "Momentary Lapse of Reason" or "Division Bell" Pink Floyd albums. 1. WL/WH 2. ...and Nico 3. Loaded 4. Velvet Underground 5. VU 6. everything else is just icing on the cake
  9. All-time favorite pigpen rap was from the 4-17-71 Princeton Hard to Handle. "That's a girl? I thought that was Brooklyn Bridge."
  10. I'm the opposite. I get bummed when something I really want doesn't show up in flac.
  11. "One way or another, this darkness got to give..." Enjoy!
  12. I always thought it was very appropriate. Seeing as the collection was meant to be a career retrospective and that the song itself was one of the more inspired things he'd written in years (imo), that final So Many Roads makes a nice "fare thee well". I still remember that night in Chicago, thinking that Jerry was sounding rough as hell, but that there wasn't anywhere else in the world I'd rather be at the time. Besides that, Jer just rips that version up.
  13. Very nice, Rob. Looks great!
