And Nico VU Velvet Underground WLWH Loaded I agree that they can be pretty interchangeable, VU was the first one I got in 84 when it came out(as that was a precursor to the reissues, and before that finding velvets albums in NWIndiana was a bit difficult)but I think the first one is just a complete album IMO whixh i never thought they acheived again. Lady Godivas Operation has got to be my fave cut w/Sunday Morning a close second.

Quadrophenia is arguably the Who's masterwork. It must be pointed out tho that Who's Next was at one point the Lifehouse "Rock Opera" and that never gelled but became quite a recording as well. For me Tommy is weak. At the time(1968-69)it was recorded and released I think the whole messiah theme was abit played out and wasn't really an original theme, besides that has been doone throughout literature and classical music for cneturies. Now, a 'rock opera" about a mod facing his own maturity and/or crack up that to me is brilliance. The follow up isn't too shabby either, Who By Numbers sho

Roky was in great form last night, better than I anticipated. The Explosives where a great no nonsense backing band whose take no prisoners approach gave Roky's songs a biting edge. Roky was smiling all through the set, clearly enjoying himself and the great fan reaction. His guitar playing was tight and singing was strong especcially when he nailed the howling vocals of You're Gonna Miss me. Dont have the Setlist but here are what I can remember Cold Night For Alligators The Beast(extended with gutar solos) The Interpreter Bermuda Two Headed Dog Dont Shake Me Lucifer Splash 1 Starry Eye
