Just wanted to tell people that have HBO that there's a truly amazing 13-part miniseries on HBO On-Demand called Epitafios that is a must-see for anyone that likes serial killer-type mysteries. It's set in an anonymous big city in Argentina and it follows a few cops and others as they try and hunt down a serial killer. I can't hype it enough. Totally worth the 9 dollars a month On-Demand costs.

I've finally gotten to watch The Corner, that HBO mini-series from a few years ago. My god, that's like the greatest thing I've ever seen on a television screen(and that includes The Wire). David Simon has to be in so much demand. Fucking genius storyteller.

Seriously, even though there's little chance the U.S. can win this thing, can you imagine if we actually did? No joke, it would set world relations with the U.S. and the rest of the world back by a mile. Particularly Europe, the hate that they have for us would go up TEN-FOLD.
