I tried once again to read Infinite Jest, and after about a hundred pages I gave up, as usual. It is not pleasurable reading. Fuck that book.

I've always found it hard to root for any team coached by Calipari, but I will be pulling for them over UCLA because, well, west-coast teams can fuck off.

The Ron Paul thing is just so perplexing to me. The other board I go to(which skews a bit younger than here), there are a bunch of self-proclaimed libertarians where many of them think differently on a lot of political points -- but they all seem to be sure that Ron Paul is the way of the future. It's really kind of bizarre. I mean, is there NO other candidate out there that libertarians support? Philly's mediocre, they're not bad. Andy Reid may be a shitty father, but he's a good coach. That team's gonna be ready like it's a playoff game.
