I think a lot of Taylor owners use coated strings -- Elixir was the first to make them but I think most string manufacturers have their versions now. As for trade in -- DON'T DO IT. You will not get your money's worth. Period. List it on ebay or craigslist where you can at least obtain market value for your guitar. That will allow you more dough to put towards something new and you won't feel ripped off.

Another fan of this show, whom I work with, mentioned that he thought the show was ending after Season 4. That might be why Kate and Sayid die -- beginning to wrap things up. I once hypothesized that all of them would die before they got off the island. Given that everyone thinks they're dead and the plan wreck was found, if everyone dies on island, no one would know any different.

Well, saw the plane actually crash and it seemed as though the Others, including Ben, were truly surprised when it happened. So I guess I wonder if: A. The plane crash was done on purpose --> I think not, given the "magnetic pulse" that seems to have brought it down B. The plane crash was accidental and coincidentally provided the Others with "test subjects" of some sort --> fake crash in Bali is used as cover for the experiments C. All of the people on flight 815 were gathered up and put on there for a reason other than mere coincidence I agree. edit: made point B and emoticon
