I just learned how to flash animate in Illustrator today. Pretty cool stuff. In the past, I had been setting up and unholy amount of layers in Photoshop and then animating them in Imageready -- which was a goddamn nightmare. Check this out to learn the whole flash animation deal.

Illustrator and I have quite the relationship these days.

I agree with the above post. SM-57 is the industry standard for a lot of instrument miking. That or the SM-58 are ~$100.

I wish I was alive back in 1967 to hear this for the first time. I think it's a fantastic piece of musicianship, but it's definitely different to grow up hearing an album, as opposed to all at once when it was brand new. I hope that makes sense. I would have just loved to experience the "mindfuck" when this came out back then.

Tops my list of Wilco faves. That guitar riff is mesmerizing. I find that the words paint such an interesting picture of loneliness and being for me -- a different perspective, like lying on your back upside-down and looking around the room. An ignorant bliss of looking out the window -- something like that. Beauty in normality, how usually things are just so-so and mundane -- but it's okay and there's always a dream to be had. Great song.
