This is right about the time that all those weekends of putting off brining in my record player to figure out what is wrong with it are going to come back and haunt me in a big way. You'd have thunk the whole procrastinating thing would have been solved back in 3rd grade when I started that book report for Mrs. Ramirez the night before. Damn me. Now I have a pristine vinyl copy of SBS and no record player to play it on.

I don't understand how folks can simultaneously claim that Pitchfork is irrelevant while having a cow over this 5.2 rating.

I love how the most important line of the episode is one that, apparently, half the viewing audience misheard.

seemed to me that Tony was itching to confess to a whole slew of stuff the whole episode. And he yelled "I Did It!" at the end as a confession. And yes, I agree. Something bad will happen to Tony. He is getting sloppy. Phil is waiting in the weeds.

I saw them uptown at united palace theatre on Monday. Awesome stuff. The worst of the three shows I've seen them put on, but still better than 90% of the stuff that I go see. Do people really not understand why its not a brilliant idea for a sold out venue to allow folks to fill the aisles?

Teams have given up on future stars since the game has been around, but the Twins certainly had no idea that Ortiz would turn out to be the absolute monster that he is. Again, this is ridiculous and irresponsible speculation, but Ortiz has to be in the category of "I wonder if..." along with so many others. This is the real shame of the steroids age. Even if guys like Ortiz and Thome are completely innocent, people will always wonder.

Holy jesus. I just read the fine print and tickets either have to be bought in the presale online or in person at the Warsaw or Irving Plaza box office at 1pm on the 12th. No ticketmaster. Take that scalpers!! I will try to get through the presale online, but if i am unsuccessful (which I bet many will be) then I will waking up early on the 12th. Who's bringing the bagels?

This topic is tough. When you consider that we are on a planet that is millions of years old, its hard to figure out how much weight to give to the fact that the earth has been warming for the last 100 years. That being said, I think we owe it to ourselves and future generations not to take a chance and to do what we can (if anything) to slow, if not reverse, the trend. The consequences are too dire to do otherwise. But I suppose if your business was going to be shut down or severely curtailed because of 100 years worth of evidence that may or may not be relevant in the context of a plane

I love how all the lawyers in DC are calling the DA's office to try to figure out if their clients are on that list. How do you explain that one? Isn't calling and asking proof that he should be on the list? "Um, I don't think my client is on that list, but hey, you never know...."
