Ryan Adams played a short, hushed 70 minute set last night at the State Theater in Minneapolis. Apparently he was unhappy with the sound quality, and abruptly ended the show sans encore. The sound wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. I don't think that I'll be buying a ticket to see the mercurial RA anytime soon. Makes me appreciate every time that I've seen Wilco even more -- they give 100% every night.

Are you sure you need a password? Go to the Shows sectionof Wilcoworld, and then click on the UMN ticketing, and it should take you to a link where the tickets will be on sale. It didn't seem like a password would be necessary.

As a poster mentions below, they have played Ripple before (and with Phil Lesh, too). But there is also a recording of Tweedy solo singing (jokingly?) that he is not a Dead fan. Froggie may have that recording, I think . . .

When I was in college, I had a cd by this band called Crackerjack. I think the members eventually formed the band Lackey. Unfortunately I lost the CD, but would really like to hear it again. I've tried searching the internet, but no luck. Anybody here know anything about these guys or where they went?

The Current (89.3) in Minneapolis played What Light yesterday. Anybody else hearing anything SBS on the radio yet? I would think XRT in Chicago may be playing something.

I am due to be a dad the day before the album is released. Guess that's why I like it so much.
