  1. I mean there was so few request on the web site that me and my friends got all the one we asked for: Laminated Cat, Theologians, Misunderstood and I'm The Man Who Loves You.
  2. I stand by what I said. Where you there? The lack was of enthusiasm was dreadful. You have Nels onstage ripping off a killer solo and the response he's got is just people sunk in their comfy chairs vaguely clapping their hands while drinking champagne (they sold champagne!!!). I've been to thousands concerts I have always respected other people in the audience. They do whatever they like. But if I feel like I want to stand up and dance and cheer I expect people to respect that because that is exactly what a concert is for. Maybe you are not from Paris and don't understand the frustration but t
  3. It was my fourth Wilco show and the first time I saw that. Last time I saw them was at Brussels' Cirque Royal during the Sky Blue Sky tour and the crowd was great.
  4. WORST crowd ever. Wilco give it all and we tried to stand up at the begining of the show because they were rocking out and we wanted to have a party with them as we have been waiting for so long for them to come back. But all those lame people behind us told us to sit down. I mean it's a rock concert not Mozart. If you want to sit, just stay home and listen to the record, don't bully people that goes to a concert to give as good a feedback as the guys deserve. Parisian audience is just crap. Like tweedy said watching them makes him wants to sleep. And when finally Tweedy encourage them to stan
  5. Ok. So I'm thinking a lot of things about TWL that I will not repeat here (I did it in French it was long). Anyway, at the end of the day, I made a playlist of songs from around AGIB era that didn't deserved to be on an album at the time (sort of). I know I'm living in the past and that you all made some sort of those playlist before but: Panthers A Magazine Called Sunset This Is New Bob Dylan's 49th Beard What Good Am I Diamond Claw Kicking Television The High Heat More like the Moon I'd be happy if TWL was half as good as this fantasy land "album"
  6. An argument about Fiona Apple Last album with a friend on Facebook end up with me making my own ideal wilco setlist. It's not a list of my favorite wilco songs but an ideal concert experience. Limited to 25 songs otherwise it's too easy. No songs from W(TA) as you can see: 1. Suken Treasure 2. I Am Trying To Break Your Heart 3. She’s a Jar 4. War On War 5. A Shot In the Arm 6. Hell Is Chrome 7. Ashes Of The American Flag 8. Impossible Germany 9. Via Chicago 10. Muzzle Of Bees 11. How To Fight Loneliness 12. Remember The Mountain Bed 13. At Least That’s What You Said 14. Not For The Season

  9. spoon is a great band. Everything is goog. Maybe you should Start with The Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga album or try their song The way we get by. As for Saibu, yes it's me. My band. Glad you like it.
  10. Sure why not. I'm thinking about going to Primavera (Wilco + Spoon !!!). But I'm a bit out of cash since I'm coproducing my band brand new 7". So re: French pop music, here is my attemp (though live in Nashville). And yes Phoenix kicks ass.
  11. I'm with you Auref. Yeah since early SBS Tour they avoid France each time they're touring western Europe. I don't know why since last time the Bataclan (capacity: 2,000) was sold out. Btw Auref, do I know you?
  12. If I was them I'll do a mean version of 'Sample and Hold' à la Spiders. Or maybe not so I can do it sometimes in the future.

  14. Thanks. I do actually have some. I was just showing my interest for this particular era. Very curious about Time Fades Away II. I'm a huge fan of TFA and all I have is a mp3 ripp off of a vynil. So I wouldn't mind get Don't Be Denied, L.A. and Last Dance in archives sounding version asap.
  15. What about Nirvana's "Serve The Servant" "Teenage angst has paid off well/Now I'm bored and old"
  16. Does anyone knows if the DVD version of the archives is region free and if not if there is a region 2 version avilable?
  17. Funny, I thought the other guys had some inputs into the songwritting. Jeff is in a really good form songwritting wise then.
  18. Maybe it's somewhere in the threads but I have not found them. If not, anyone knows the songwriting credits for W(TA)?
  19. Thanks for the advice but you have no idea how bad I am at these manual crafts. I will look if there's a good soul around me willing to look into it, but I'm afraid it's not a task for a french mind. It's not in our blood.
  20. Hi guys, Any Idea where I could get myself a nudie suit jacket like the one wear by tweedy and the band in the new DVD? If you know any online shop that coul have those (I've tried ebay without any luck). Is it that rare to find? Thanks
