  1. Yes, an entire evening of just Wilco would be a grand thing indeed... But thats not what we usually get... Only band I've seen live that didn't have an opening band was Pink Floyd... But it's all good, whomever opens, well I hope so anyways... Someone has to get the party started...
  2. But of course woowoo... Almost 21 years and still rockin!! They played pigskinpolooza in Smyra last night (football)... here are some links.... DNC DNC my space Kevn Kinney KK my space
  3. Huntsville.... Drivin n' Cryin Now I think some of ya'll would be pleased if they opened other shows too... but DNC AND WILCO on the same bill... sweeeeeeeeeeeet If not DNC then Gibb Droll Band.... Drive By Truckers are always a fun show or the Cigar Store Indians too... Dash Rip Rock is always a fun opener too... A real treat, Tom Clark and The High Action Boys from Brooklyn...
  4. What about Wilco vs Neil and Crazy Horse?
  5. seating download seat colors the top link is for downloads, which opens up a pdf file. when you click on it scroll down to either one of these.... Concert Hall - Lower Level (pdf) Concert Hall - Upper Level (pdf) if you click on the little magnifing glass and zoom in to like 200% it shows you the numbers. Then you can check the sections by color using the second link... Hope this helps, it is what i used to get an idea of where my seat is...
  6. Yes, reasonable... Not sure how long my trip will take... but I will be there, I hope... I've learned that "shit happens"... so I plan to be there... If you need a tix, I will have one extra... The first presale I didn't like so I waited the 10 minutes and tried again... I'm set so far as long as karma is on my side...
  7. I will be roadtripping also to Huntsville... FYI... the Holiday Inn on Williams Ave is accross the street from the convention center 1-888-534-7787 or direct 1-256-533-1400 I will have an extra ticket for sale, I'll list in the tix section... I don't have in hand just yet, so I'll mail if possible time allows or meet up before the show... Can't wait for the show JT i'm working on my wish list...
  8. Wilco Wilco show JT YHF - BOB - can't choose on this one Forever a Dylan fan, but he don't seem to have the same heart and soul musicly.... or maybe it's me...
  9. This link may help us with the time differences... Tour page has 10am CDT which in my time zone would be 11am EDT... I hope this will help the rest of ya'll to purchase tixs... I so wanta get tixs to Huntsville, like the rest so wants tixs to their shows... I wish us all luck!! Time Zone
  10. Also some of the listed dates have the presale starting at 11am and not the 10am like on the tour page??? The only one in reason for me is Huntsville, I usually don't go to AL for shows, (but for a Wilco fix, well I surely will) so I don't know much of it, any locals know a good motel near the venue? Any advice would be grand, with the hopes that I get tickets for the show I truly wanted to go to NC but if I had I wouldn't have had a job when I got home... Only got to see one show on the southern tour, had another one to go to, but shit happens... when ya wheels get stoled then ya c
  11. I like alot of these on this site... I know I need to find a turntable that I can run through my stero system, I have 3 turntables in the house, one the GPX will play the 45's and 33's the other two older turntables will play even 78's... Pioneer and TDK electronics seem to be compatible with most systems.... I'm looking for a turntable to play some really old 10" and 16" vinyl from 1900-1901, I'm curious to hear how the music sounded way back when...
  12. Well my collection is 0% rap... (I have a VERY, VERY large vinyl collection) I have seen Run DMC right before that one guy from the band passed away...
  13. PLEASE, PLEASE... GEORGIA AND SOUTH CAROLINA...PLEASE, PLEASE...
  14. I've been divorced 15 years now, best thing I ever done for my children and I.... What got me through was focusing on raising my children. Between working and tending to their needs, I didn't have time to think to much or be mad or hurt... Nights are the hardest to get through, but it does get easier as time goes by. You'll have time to do some soul seaching to find out what makes you happy or what you may want. You will be more careful with whom you let into your daughter's life now, she is your world and you'll focus on what is best for her, which means usually is the best thing for you to
  15. What's been a more enjoyable listen? Music is like beauty... 'to the ear of the beholder...' An artist is forever changing, growing as are we... I know I've not had the pleasure of knowing all of JT's days of growing, but I'm learning and growing too... I enjoy what I've heard so far... Look forward to hearing what changes next time I hear it, to how they finely lay it down... I love hearing older stuff revisited... For me I like waiting on an album to hear what the artist is trying to say... And then feel what it says to me... I wouldn't call the new songs sub-par... for me JT
  16. This guy is a total jackass... How dare he call her a moron or say it's her fault in anyway that this monster killed her... I thought this was America, where young, beautiful girls could go out and get drunk, use bad judgement... Who hasn't? That monster had NO RIGHT!! Wonder someday if Bill O'Reilly is faced with a murderer if his clothes or if he had a drink or the city will help in the fact he gets raped or murdered... Sorry, it just pisses me off that "the girl" is always to blame when she is raped or murdered.... Not the monster that rapes or murders, not his fault, she did it, she
  17. I wonder whatever happened to "growing olde gracefully?" If you find yourself an olde person one day, Your Blessed... What Grandmother would think having less wrinkles than their grandaughter is cool? Who would believe her olde wise tells if she didn't look the age? Wonder in 20 years what sciencist will say this process does to our bodies, our looks... The whole world is mad (IMO)
  18. Yeah... I think they are... I for one loved Asheville... A magicial night as were Athens, GA... but later on was some tough shit, to say the least... Jacksonville I would have 3rd roll seats 'shit', but all for a reason... all a season... I don't think there is a issue with Asheville... if ever you need a venue, well I could tell you of some wonderous hideaways... Seems DNC/Kevn knows them all, if only to see Jeff or Jeff and boys... One can do some 'wishful thinking'...
  19. Well where is the NPR report? I take it as a joke, Asheville was just grand!! Until you can prove otherwise.... I know not of anything of Asheville or Chapel Hill... Other than due to 'work' i can't be at the solo show coming up... In due time I will get to see more shows, seems what I've tried for, well... Ain't happened anyways... I've got songs to hear live if only once ya know.....
  20. Are you kidding? What's this NPR interview, he didn't really say that did he? What happened, I don't remember nothing bad happening.... Maybe being my first Wilco show I missed something?
  21. I found this to be fun, since I can't slap him myself.... Bush Balls........ You might find interesting.... cool CSNY pictures... Neil
