I was at that Neil show too... the crowd was aweful... but during the rain i met some kool folks that shared there table and food, so it made things better (for me anyways) I'm hoping it doesn't pour tomorrow... Guess i could use another shower "maybe the sun will shine today, clouds blow away"... maybe we can chant this and the skyes will hear us? Yes folks traveling be careful, crazy drivers to say the least... i don't go to the city that much due to igiot minded drivers and the roads... I'll be traveling to Charlotte Wed. looks tho to be easy to get to my motel... i'm a hoping...

That is so awesome!! Last night I was caller 19 told Margot she was killing me... I believe not, Margot usually says once she has given away her pair, that you have more chances starting in the morning...

I wanta get tixs to this so bad too..... I did hear them play "What Light" last night... I believe a first for davefm... so far i believe i've been caller 1, 7, 9, 17 ps... if any of you wanta try, go to www.davefm.com and then click on the "friends of dave" and if you sign up you can "get points" and with the points you can enter a drawing... they will have 5 winners, you can enter as many times as you like up to the 16th... it's 300 points per entry... at least it's another way to try... it's very easy to get points...

Just below Charlotte is York, SC (small town) but they have the Sylvia Theatre, a cool venue... Great for a solo show...

That's kool, I'd hope to some day catch a show... The camp out thing with Cracker and CVB sounds like alot of fun... Maybe some day they are playing the 40watt in Athens, so is Jason Isbell too, I'd like to get back to going to shows in Athens, last year when my car was stolen in athens it put the scare in me... but anyways, i'll get back to my shows like i use too... didn't me to ramble

Sarah you'd enjoy seeing Cracker... they are great live. I've seen them as a band, a couple solo shows and joining in other bands... I've yet to see Camper Van Beethoven, but I hope to get the dvd of the 1st annual camp out... I love the song "eurotrash girl"... the medley is just kick a** my most favorite by them... Go and have a good time girl

Yes, listen from I believe 7-9 and Margot the DJ giving the tixs away... Her show runs from 7- midnight... They are giving them away all week, a pair a night... I haven't heard Wilco on davefm. Now on acoustic sunrise I hadn't heard it on there, but they do play some unheard songs sunday mornings... Kudos to acoustic sunrise

I hope to go pick them up today, usually radio stations give good seats (at least all the tixs I've won before) Sarah, we might can trade if these are better seats... The friends that will use these tixs don't know what seats yet... I have my front roll seat Ain't nobody using that one but me

Well the thanks I get are very lovely indeed.... One of our local radio stations this week, has been giving away a pair of tickets to see Wilco in the ATL... You have to answer a question right and be the 11th caller... As luck would have it I call and she says "your caller 6, try again"... So I try again, it rings and rings. That's better than a busy signal tho... Then she answers and said do you know the answer? Guess what the question was... What car commercial is playing Wilco songs? So thank you Wilco and VW, I won a pair of tickets... oh and daveFM (formally Z93)

Thanks Donna, I had wondered about that line... How about some "kidsmokian translation" for these? Just for grins and giggles "Of ordinary beehives"... can there be sure a thing? "When everybody's feeling all alone, Can't tell you who I am" "Toward the shadows tracing bones" "A gift given accidentally"

This article is pages 71-79 and page 75 has an awesome (IMO) picture of JT... the first part RAINDOG posted but like i say it's a long interview but a well thought out one IMO... I wouldn't bother with this article but to me it's a very good article and if I knew how to copy the pages and paste them I would have done it, but with the digital stuff, well I do good to type my name... So here's what you can do to read it. Relix is on some ditigal kick, which is pretty kool once you learn how to work it... First ...Click Here.... You should see "Hi, Maddie Hope" at the top of the page.

Mr Jeff Tweedy Has The Four Page Spread With Abba Segment!
Maddie Hope replied to baab's topic in Just A Fan
Priceless... Yes it is just a legend... Just a great song by the Charlie Daniels Band... Thanks for talking. Maybe you and Lotti can get out to see some shows sometimes... Good you and your friends play music together, yes that's real joy of music Love the snowman in video. I wonder who the person is that walked behind snowman during the song? I've not seen Mr Jeff Tweedy perform Dancing Queen, but I surely would like to see it. How was the performance by Mr Jeff Tweedy?
