  2. FYI... JCM said we could give them out at any concert, not just the black crowes... JCM800 EMAIL PAGE LINK (seems you'd need to Register to get link to his email) ***I copied this from the Drivin' n' Cryin' messageboard. They are looking for folks going to the Black Crowes shows listed below and if you hand any of these "download cards" out you'll get a goodie bag from Drivin' n' Cryin'. I did something like this when Jack Johnson was in Atlanta last summer, we got neat gifts and got to meet Jack Johnson and it was just fun to do. So anyone interested can click the link "JCM800 EMAIL
  3. I thought "Lotti"... LOL It's fun sometimes reading all the stuff good and bad. If JT does read I'm sure he gets a laugh sometimes too (or a WTF???) Either way, we do live in a "Free Will" world and we all have opinions good and bad. I'm just grateful that Wilco(the band) exists and makes music!! That being said, Wilco please come back to Georgia (I need another fix )
  4. Things will turn around, just never stop trying even when she says mean things, really she doesn't mean it, she is just hurting and they do grow up inspite of us... I hope she goes to the show with you, music transends when words can not... I don't know how I survived raising my kids, but we made it somehow. Now I'm terrified since I've taken on raising two grandchildren (2&3) because things are so different than when my kids where growing up. I thought I learned a thing or two that I could use raising the grandkids, however, it is a daily surprize with them... Good luck with y

  9. I guess it isn't so much a copyright with Will's and POA's as it is to show your most current wishes. As a persons life changes so does their wishes and to keep the family feud down if your Will is time dated then no one can protest. Of course people can and do protest if they think they are cut out of something they believe is theirs. I made copies of everything to use and then the orginals that were sealed didn't get open for my mom until I went to probate her Will.
  10. Gregory Kollins, this is your best bet to get your music to JT. Maybe you can see him at another show and ask if he listened, if he remembers then I'd say your song is good. If not at least you got to meet JT Mailing your cd in to their corporate office I feel it wouldn't get listened to, just piled up in a corner somewhere, but I don't know that... Good Luck and maybe you'll feel you could post it on the board here, but that leaves you open for comments good and bad... Most of all get out and play your song to folks...
  11. Hope you have a grateful, fun day today!!
  12. Yes a "poor man's copyright." Mail your song to yourself and don't let anyone open it. That's what I do for people when I do their Will's, POA's, ect. The email would work also since we are in that era of time... Good Luck!
  13. This is all I can get from RS.com, either I'm missing something or I just don't get it. Could someone that has the article post it? Please... FEATURES Jeff Tweedy Lets Go Wilco's frontman used to be the most tortured guy in rock & roll. Then he learned the hardest thing of all: keeping it simple. By Will Dana

  15. Georgia loves ya Wilco... Here's to Wishful Thinking (GEORGIA DATES PLEASE!)
  16. I have thought more so... I think I will add "Via Chicago" because it's such a beautiful song and when we pass, we are seaching for a new home... So My List As of Today... Broken Down Palace Ripple Check Your Tears At The Door Via Chicago California Stars (the more i listen, it is up there with ripple, it has to be played when i leave this earth) Recently at my mama's, my aunt sung one called "When Morning Comes"... which was perfect for the situtation, for her, not sure who sings it but it was perfect. My dad made a cassette which included "My Farewell Party"... he died in the 80's so he

  19. I don't like people like that either. Some acts or venues make it like this. But in all fairness it is a show... things I've done to "get" to a show... like drivin' at 75mph for 5 straught hours to make it to the oceanside before showtime... being so thrilled to be there before it started, viewable side, oceanside, for the show of a lifetime, wondering what "they will play"... or.... my first drivin n' cryin show where i waited in line like everybody else but went to the bar not knowing i should go to the stage, i was use to going to the stage loading crap, then get a drink... i hand't reali
  20. You Never Know... on Rock 100.5 in Hotlana, GA (some of the crews from 96 rock moved to this station)

  22. Have you tried the Social Security website to see what it would take to get a replacement card? That way you'd have your number. But it can be a pain in the ass too. But maybe in person they could look it up. I wanted to take a cruise and needed a passport, but I gave up with the hassle...
  23. Glad to hear your dad is home, doing better! Sending good vibes, wishes and love to you and your family... be sure to hug him extra
