Yeah I guess it is a somewhat unfair generalization... in person would be best... I just thought on the board there are alot of folks that like lots of different music, not just Wilco and might know...thanks... So R Kelly did this song... never knew, no it's not rap... Really R&B... to me it seems more rap and not what i've called R&B... I love the blues! It's not the rap music, music is music and only the listener can decide what it means to them or if they like it... from what i've known and seen of rappers and that life style there is way to much bad stuff going on... sure i don't know much of nothing about it but having kids, brothers that liked the stuff, seems to me the life style is bad. I will find out about J-Rob... one way or another...

I hope R Kelly ain't in the picture. However she said she met R Kelly the other week... I can't find anything music wise on him.. his myspace page shows some pics and such... I worry the life style this guy brings around my grandbabies, rap music isn't good values to teach a child... I wonder why he would want a ready made family? OK, this J Rob is dating my grandbabies mother... so I'm concerned and worried who this guy is... he claims to be a rapper, ect. Not the kind of life style that my grandbabies need to be around IMO! So I'm trying to find out information on him, I was suppose to meet him on Fri and that didn't happen and then again on Sunday and that didn't happen, why? I keep getting stories, he supposely has money, got a new cd coming out, ect. This R Kelly dude seems to like "young" girls and likes to make videos... So, I'm worried about my babies... the mother can take care of herself, but my babies...

Well I have found some 411... I was spelling it wrong, it's J Rob... When asking folks if they had heard of R Kelly or J Rob someone responed - "Yeah J Rob was R Kelly's sidekick"...??? Can't always go by what people say... I've not met J Rob yet, was to Fri and Sun and neither time did I... It is very important that I met him and know who he is... I've never cared about rap music or the life style so I'm concerned...

To me it looked like all 3 (Jeff, Nels, Pat) played lead basicly... I'm sure I'm wrong, but seeing only two shows back to back to me it seemed they all 3 were playing lead.. Question for folks... the title "You Are My Face"... usually somewhere within a song you hear the title, but not on YAMF, it's not mentioned. Where do you think the title comes from?

I'd rather not buy it R Kelly isn't my cup of tea... but thanks for the lyrics just the same...What I'm really after is Jay-Rob... I was told this is R Kelly's "side kick"...His real name is James...I was hoping some of you know or have heard of Jay-Rob and could give me some 411 about him.... he lives in the ATL... I've been meaning to ask if anyone found a cover to the Mermaid Ave laying around on the ground after the show at Oven's in Charlotte the night of the show 6/20? I lost my copy I had planned on getting the cover signed, I did get one signed but then back at my room I discovered I had lost that cover... Please let me know if you found it so I could get it back... Thanks a million!!

For me I'm not crazy about "Shot In The Arm"... but I do like the last line... "what you once were isn't what you wanta be anymore" Not a bad tune, lots of folks really like it... Personally, I think it's cuz' the song reminds me of a time I was in, what I called "the nuthouse" rehab if you wish, but them damn "shots in the arm" were a bitch! but I'm all better now... I really like most all songs that JT/Wilco play, some lots more than others, but I guess I can see the good in them all...

yes the Fox or Tabernacle works for me... I guess venue depends on how many tickets they would like to sell...I wish I had known of the Playhouse show Wilco did or the 40Watt, could you imagine them playing there again?Tixs would be hard to get but WOW if you got in... Maybe someday JT would do a show at the Flicker Theatre or Caledonia's in Athens, up close and personal... He'd just have to figure out how you'd limit the select few that would attend... Just Wishful Thinking again... Where did they play in Columbia?

Ya know, JT did say at the ATL show... "we will be back here soon, somewhere inside, promise"... Now where inside? Atlanta? Georgia? Guess we will see in time... Please NO Lakewood or Roxy or Masquerade... These are three of my least favorite venues in the ATL...

and how about Huntsville (VBC)... I'd drive there, it was fun last time... or Agusta, GA (Imperial Theatre) or Athens, GA (I'll be more careful this time ) Columbia, SC... please just close enough for me to drive!

Thank ya kinldy Sarchi... I think Let's Fight would have fit into the SBS songs... but maybe the next record.. I like LNGCA, it's more rockin' and wouldn't have fit into SBS, but maybe the next record... I'd love to hear Let's Fight live and see the guitar work on this song... Just as I'd love to hear Wishful Thinking live... One day, one show, I will...

SBS is "perfect" as is Tweedy done a fine job in the song sequencing... Hopefully we'll get more of the unreleased stuff... I have an mp3 of Let's Fight, but not sure how to link it, I'm trying but can't seem to get a url that works...
