I'd like to know this too, I hadn't heard that before.... Wonder what the two songs You Are My Face and Sky Blue Sky (weres the e on skye... ) are like... Guess that we have lots to look forward too Thought when I heard this one song live that it could be for us fans. Guess folks in general... LNGCA (Tweedy: "A straight -ahead rock song about people in life who constandly criticise")

Wishful Thinking... (Can't wait to hear this one live) Is That The Thanks I Get... (This is such a fun song IMO) Tho I have favorites to some day hear live, just let me make it to some more shows... I'll enjoy the setlist whatever it maybe...

I hear tell that Florida is actually full of Yankees hiding from the cold...

I like that... We all can be south of anywhere... But only one bible belt southern redneck charming hillbilly beautiful Southern States...
-
Yes, Greenville... SC is like a home away from home for me Think JT would consider doing a show with Edwin McCain? Edwin could show him around town... Columbia is a good town too for SC... Just no West Columbia please... There is always Charleston

Wishful Thinking... I know, but never hurts to ask... Georgia maybe...

I agree too. I loved it when I use to travel with my Granddaddy during his missionary days, we'd go all over the south singing our hearts out in churches, so yeah to me a show is alot like church... Musiclly speaking of togetherness... Love the comment about the religious songs being so intensely fearful... I would have to say that getting up in front of folks singing would be fearful to me, i've tried before... I agree, much more than just great performances of great songs!! Love Glenn's twirling side note... anyone know who Narvel Felts is? He has a song called "I Wonder", the

When I get my hands on a recording of it, which it's in the works I'd be glad to send you a copy. I have to rely on friends cuz' I can't do the downloading bit... but I can make copies to share once it is on cd... I'll PM you when I get it in the mail... It comes from the West Midlands so it isn't like mailing in the US... Can't wait to relive this show, wish I could have made it to some more... Next time around so I've got my Wishful Thinking going on...
-
Well I hope when I get home tonight from work mine will be waiting to be watched Look forward to the postcards. Guess I should have got Adult Head for the $5 instead of full price at the show, ended up buying it twice, I laid it down in the bathroom and before I could turn back around to go back, well you guessed it, so I had to get another one... Interesting book of poems... Hope the dvd has arrived home

"How Can I Play Guitar For You, When I Don't Know What To Do" Kingpin - 3/9/06 Athens, GA
-
I like that, yes people have alittle faith!! "Got a million better things to do, than play rock n' roll for you" "A lot of songs I'd love to sing, but I know you'd just ruin it" This makes me wonder is he saying that to "us fans" JT, you just keep on keepin' on... Not all are "shitters"... Do ya'll remember what happened to the "shitters"?

Wishful Thinking... (wish they played this in Huntsville, guess I'm due another roadtrip and wish its on the setlist...)
-
That's good, thought it could have just been me that heard it wrong... I agree "tour too much...is that possible?" Each show leaves me hungry for more shows... If they enjoy playing as much as I love seeing them play... Reading your post I felt kinda of guilty, I want more shows, whatever they play... However they play. Like I say, the show was AWESOME TO ME.... Just asking for another show, made me feel selfish and I don't mean to be...

Ya know I thought he asked who was from "Atlanta" not Alaska, I was hollowing for that one... But tho I'm not from Alaska (LOL) but east of Atlanta... I think it was an AWESOME SHOW Considering all things well worth the loooong drive, would have loved to meet the guys, didn't think they'd be out, guess it would have helped to know where the bus was (LOL) Maybe next time, but sitting by the water fountain in the park was nice after the show... Can't wait for the next show... How about one in Chicago or Buffalo around christmas to new years? Hope to visit family and see the new grandaughter

That's good, they have so much more of a collection of songs, I love Kingpin, but I'd love to hear the more deeper songs... JT has to be a strong person to still perform during this time... Not sure I could be so strong if it was me, but I do hope the music helps to get him through this time...
-
I didn't see Kingpin in the setlist... Do they not always play that one? Just wondering... I thought that was one of the "standard" hits ya know... I wanted to post my "wish list" for Huntsville, but I felt I shouldn't... I'll just enjoy the surprizes the boys might play Monday night...

A Mother's Love Forever in her heart She walks with you Through the seasons For every Season There is a Reason A purpose, A time For everything Under the Heavens My heart and prayers go out to you and your family and loved ones. I pray you find peace, love and understanding in this time. When my aunt passed (my 2nd mama) I was with her as death came upon her, what I had feared wasn't what I felt, I felt peace for her and myself. I still talk to her most days and share with her my joys, pain and life in general. I pray I will have this peace when my mama leaves, she is my best friend in t
