  3. Wishful Thinking on my part My bubble was bursted when they changed the Charleston show But I'm staying hopeful for some shows I can attend I got two other shows, so far (besides local gigs)... Edwin Mccain is playing the Imperial Theatre in Augusta, GA. (well Augusta is kinda local) I'd love to see Wilco play this venue... and Jack Johnson in the ATL will be fun... Tho, these I'm really looking forward to... these are not WILCO Wilco is who I'd rather see live (and I want more than just one show)!!! It's only March so who knows where the year will take us all? Novemb

  6. I wish I could "roadtrip" with ya to St. Louis... But it's far between GA and NY... Wish I were closer to where you are.... Three shows in three nights would be blistful I hope you celebrate grateful-ly, joyful-ly, Wilco-ly
  7. " Subject: Breakfast with Wilco, Spring tour tickets, Summer preview "........ Now the email from HQ had this as the subject line. Nothing mentioned about "Breakfast with Wilco". So.... wonder what, when, how? " This run will wind its way northwest and then south with stops in numerous new or rarely-visited locales as well as a couple of old favorites. "...... Alright Wilco the South I look forward to the numerous new and rarely-visited locales!! I just pray it's days I can take off. PLEASE ANYTHING OTHER THAN MAY 19-23 !!!! ... 10. Nice, Thank ya kindly!! Just makes me sad all over again that I didn't get to see a show in Charleston Wilco you gotta play more southern dates soon! I wish Nola wasn't so far from me, these shows would have been blissful
  11. Since Gibby moved to NYC he doesn't come down south... Back a few years Gibb and Kevn played lots of shows together. Sometimes Gibb would open for Kevn/Suntangled Angel Revival. He was playing alot with Marc Broussard... Like I say he isn't in the south anymore I hope someday to see Red Rocks... A dream show would be to see Wilco there (the trick would be getting there ) At least Todd does still come around the south sometimes... It don't seem to bother him when the crowd is loud, he just keeps right on playing... Either one of these guys or with their bands would be an awesome o
  12. now I bet Andrew Dice Clay could really get the crowd going Would love Warren Haynes or Derek Trucks Band.... Here are a few I'd love to see... Gibb Droll Gibb is a madman on guitar... would love to see Nels and Gibb together... Jason Isbell Todd Snider Cracker The Heap Sarah Lee Gurthie and Johnny Irion this is Woody's grandaughter, Sarah Lee...
  13. Don't feel disappointed in yourself, it's a condition and no one can explain "why" people have migraines. It's not fair, but life isn't fair... If you are into plants there is one that works on migraines, however the smell isn't pleasant, but it's a natural treatment. It's called Valerian. I couldn't imagine putting on a show with a migraine either, I just couldn't imagine... I like the line JT says "I honestly can not remember a time in my life when I did not have headaches." Reading the article made me think, maybe things are connected that I never thought of like the migraines,
  14. Yeah my raw reaction... I doubt I will calm down. They haven't been close enough for me to drive since June (which JT said he'd be back, when?) and now, days before the show, they change it for 6 months down the road which I can't take that time off! so guess what, I don't get to see a show this year I guess, so yeah I'm really upset by it all, this was a very important weekend for me and the highlight was to see Wilco... So what the hell do I do now? I don't want a refund, I want to see the show, oh well...

  16. Well I just learned that Kevn Kinney will be at Cafe Loco (Tybee) Saturday night... HHI on Sunday... So that takes care of Fri/Sat nights... He is at Windjammers Friday... However I'll be at WILCO
  17. Okay looks like the Sportz Cafe it is... Hope to meet many fellow VC'ers...
  18. Can't wait to meet you too!!! However, I don't drink beer... but a nice Capt and Coke You buy the first round, I'll buy the second Maybe I can head out Thursday night, spend the day in Charleston, then ROCK N' ROLL the night away Then maybe Savannah on Saturday... or should I go to Tybee or maybe Isle of Palms (Decisions, Decisions?)
  19. I'll be there Hope to meet up with some fellow VC'ers
  20. I meant by the "medley" is the music I love the riffs, licks, sound the words are kinda sad, but the music... just like with Radio King, love the music!! Wish they would play that one too! I'd go for "Rock Myself" or whatever it's called, it's a rockin' tune... That was kool hearing Cali Stars in Charlotte... Can't wait for the end of the month to hurry up and arrive
  21. Hope they play "She's A Jar"... I love the medley! I requested "Wishful Thinking" and would so love to hear "Cali Stars"
  22. He played the Tabernacle and B'ham in Jan. last year... truly both were grand! I could sure use some solo shows in the south also!
  23. I think it's kool... I didn't see it the first time so i watched it again and saw it... this looks like it might be a funny movie, hope it is...
  24. In Asheville JT came out into the crowd and held her and serenaded her... Very sweet like in Charlotte... She has great stories to tell her children some day Yes kool parents too... I use to take mine to concerts as they were growing up, now they are grown and usually are "too busy". New mates, babies, ect. But they do miss it, my daughter was saying over x'mas "we need to go to another show soon" Hopefully other VC'ers can meet up and have a "pow wow" before the show... that would be fun.
  25. Lilac Rain is the little girl that... first time I seen her JT serenade her in Asheville during Hummingbird... She has gotten on stage during Hummingbird and danced and sung with JT, wasn't that in Charlotte?? It's been a few shows, not sure how many... A darling little girl with excellent taste in music
